Chinese medicine, the stomach and the spleen
are on the Earth element. The Spleen rules the
limbs, muscles, and blood, holds our organs up,
and opens into the mouth and lips affecting taste
and the color of the lips. On the other hand, the
Stomach has to do with retention of fluid,
appetite, digestion, and maybe, even pain.
