Who is Draining Your Energy?

How many times have you been at a party, club, or
someone's home where the people have a strange
vibration? Maybe it was negative energy, bad
vibes, or just a bad feeling you had. We have all
been there at one time or another, it just feels
kind of creepy. I know I have run into situations
like this more than once. I'd described this group
of people as psychic vampires or "energy
vampires". I use these terms metaphorically to
refer to people whose influence leaves a person
feeling exhausted, unfocused, and depressed. If
you have had the displeasure of being in a room
with someone like that, or been to a bar, party,
class, workshop, or even at a restaurant with
energy vampires, it's no pleasure. You actually
feel better when they leave the room. In the
beginning of the conversation, they seem so
understanding as they pump you for information or
fill you with the juiciest gossip. The next thing
you know, they have their teeth on your neck. Some
people, by their very presence, seem to drain the
energy of those unprotected people around them.
Most of these energy vampires are well-meaning
people but, for the most part, they are usually an
unhappy group of people who are very needy. They
do their damage by a telepathic draining of their
victim's energy resources.

to defend them from losing their energy. A Psychic
Parasitism can drain you of energy and you
wouldn't even know it until you're just exhausted
and washed out. Last Monday, I called a friend to
see how she was doing. She texted me back and
said, I am on a conference call and will get back
to you later. Later that day, she showed up at my
office to drop off a book that she borrowed. She
was washed out and looked exhausted. I found out
that she was on a group healing call with
twenty-five people and, now she had a massive
headache and looked like she hadn't slept in days.
She is usually a high-energy person, always
positive, but today she got slimed. An energy
drain is involuntary and subconscious; I am sure
the group had no negative intent. If this effect
were the result of a pre-meditated psychic attack,
we would refer to the person as an energy vampire.
You can see these vampires at work in any public
gathering. The more people present, the easier it
will be to observe. This could be a family
gathering, a lecture, or an encounter at your
local grocery store. When I conduct seminars and
workshops, it will be more obvious to you who is
sucking your energy.
