Rooting and Grounding 9 point secret

It was cold dark and windy this morning at 6:30 when I left my
house for my morning workout. Burrrr 45 degrees and that’s damn
cold for Southern Florida. On the way I got a phone call from
another Qi Gong practitioner who gave me a few laughs to keep
me warm on my walk to the beach.

He also asked me about my grounding techniques.

“Grounding” is when you sink your energy deep into the earth.
The Kung Fu guys love all the grounding techniques from Qi Gong
because when you run into somebody that is really grounded its
like running into a brick wall, you can move or throw them.
I have seen many examples of this over the years. One teacher
of mine was just a little guy but he could ground himself on a
patch of ICE and nobody could even slide or budge him and inch,
even with a running start.

In the energy healing work I do grounding is very important. We
look at it this way, a tree can has to grow roots to grow tall
and take on more sunlight. You can’t grow up without growing
down at the same time.

Grounding as a practice is more than stance work, in fact it’s
not really stance work at all. You don’t need big legs to get
grounded you only need to know how to direct your attention and
energy. The 9-point grounding technique is essential to doing
this properly.

My walk down to the Beach is a little less than a half-mile;
but I use every step of the walk to do my Qi Gong breathing and
the 9-point grounding techniques. I have taught the 9 -point
grounding technique only to a very select few, as of now. All
the members of the Qi Gong Inner Circle are receiving a DVD on
this technique this month and I reviewed it with them last
night on a group call.

There are so many of us that strive for internal power and
spiritual openness we read, study, and we train. If we are
lucky enough to have a good teacher we may get the real goods,
but it’s rare.

On the other hand you could say that some of the most powerful
teachings are right out in the open, hidden in old folk
stories; those parables have a lot of juice in them, but again,
it takes the proper introduction by a qualified teacher to
decipher the code and then learn the practice.

My teacher once said, “It takes two wings to fly. The first
wing is the teaching and the second wing is the practice. You
can’t fly with only one wing. You end up just flopping around
like a wounded bird.”

There’s nothing more annoying then someone who knows everything
but can’t do anything and there’s nothing more upsetting than
seeing someone try and try and try but fail. All they are
missing is a coach to adjust their practice just a tiny bit and
they would catapult themselves to great success.

Many times the key is already in your hand you just need to be
shown the lock and that vault of knowledge and power is open to
you. That’s the value of a qualified teacher or coach.

Over the last 30 years I have studies with Kung Fu Masters, Qi
Gong Masters, Meditation Masters and Master Healers from all
over the planet. In fact I am still studying and practicing
daily. With the right coach or teacher you can get the goods
and increase your power, your energy and open up centers that
very few students know that they even exist.
