Last night I attended one of the best concerts in my life and learned something about Qi Gong in the process.
I’m back in Detroit, my hometown, this week and had a rare opportunity to see Stevie Wonder live in concert. How could I pass it up? It’s been over a decade since Stevie’s been on tour.
I danced.
I sang.
I clapped.
I laughed.
And when Stevie Wonder brought out his daughter and sang to her “Isn’t She Lovely” I cried.
Stevie Wonder named this tour “A Wonder Summer Night”, his whole idea was to play music for people outside under the stars.
How is it that a blind man can enjoy the stars? You’d think it would be of little consequence to him. Why would he even mention it?
I sat back on the grass listening to Stevie sing as if the words were pouring directly into my heart and pondered this.
I considered my own practice.
Qi Gong has a counterpart that is often referred to as Nei Gong or the internal skill.
In the ancient alchemical texts on Nei Gong it is said that when a man develops his internal vision he can swim in the sky, swallow the moon, and taste the stars.
Maybe Stevie is a master of Nei Gong in his own way.
I myself will be expanding my own Qi Gong and Nei Gong practice as I begin to teach more of the internal aspects of the Recharging Qi Gong.

I didn’t make a big fuss in the book about these exercises but these are really for the internal organs and the key to the rejuvenating power contained in the Recharging Qi Gong.
Right now I am outlining my next DVD that will focus exclusively on these six exercises. I will give more of the details of the movements as well as the Internal Vision of these exercises and the keys to unlocking their power.
