The Fastest Sport

I don’t usually attend sporting events as I have busy life writing, making educational products, running a full time health practice and always educating myself at seminars, and workshops. But just before New Years one of our patients was in town a incredible athlete who played the fastest sport HOCKEY. The Florida Panthers were playing  the Montreal Canadians  and even though I live in Florida, I was rooting for Alex and the Montreal Canadians. He invited the entire office to the game and the post-game visitor see the players close up. I’ve never been back stage at a sporting event and when you  know one of the players t’s even more exciting

Hockey is an exciting fast moving sport. Hockey players generally play between 30 seconds to a minute at a time before they are back to their bench and are replaced by a teammate. Because players play in such short bursts, they can go all out when they are on the ice. What a game, by the end all my muscles were sore and I was watching. Every time someone got smashed against the boards I swear I felt it. I really appreciate the power of the team spirit and admire real athletes, they are so graceful on ice like dancers with a ton of testosterone flowing thorough every pore of their body.

Professional athletes know the importance of using every modality to stay in tiptop shape. They train mentally physically and spiritually to be the best of the best. You would think that a person who plays hockey would be an overly aggressive person, but that’s further from the truth. A professional is professional in every part of their life. Train yourself to be a professional in every aspect of your life.

Stay healthy, strong, vibrant , happy and give back to the community as much as you can.
