Listen to what your doctor says — if you dare!

A patient came in this evening,
sort of unexpectedly. I happen to know his son who
is a chiropractor. This is so
unbelievable! You wouldn’t imagine.
The patient is a type A personality.
He has been a successful business man for years
and is always on top of his game and of course
like most of us in the USA believe and do
everything that our doctor says.
Why wouldn’t we?
So the guy goes in to see his
doctor because he is having a problem walking,
they put him in a machine that he has to
stand and sit about 50 times.
Just a routine checkup. The guy
was in pretty good shape before he went in to
see the doctor. A few days later, he went to see
his eye doctor and although his primary
doctor wasn’t there he saw his associate who gave
him an injection in the eye.

Apparently he didn’t
know he was diabetic and had a heart condition. The
results were — the medicine for his eye medicine
gave him a stroke and when he got the test from the first
doctor he herniated two disks in his back and although
the patient is younger than me he can no longer
walk without a walker, he is dizzy
and somewhat incoherent.

OMG! I could hardly
believe this happened myself!

The funny thing is that I met this guy about 3 months
ago and saw that he was a little out of shape to say the least.
I suggested that he take sometime to see me as a patient
and I invited him to come to the beach to train with me.

Do you think he showed up? NO!
Most People don’t believe in prevention
until it is too late.
If you want to stay in good
shape, walker

Don’t go on that long run! Train daily, pick up a copy of Recharging
Qi Gong program. It is a whole system of
internal exercises, stretches and strength training.

Making Life Fun

I Wish all of you a Happy New Years
I got a call this morning from John who was
bummed out.
He was complaining that he had to work today and
when on and on on how it was unfair.

So John I am sending out this blog to
let you know what the true meaning of work is
and how I feel about work, by the way I am at the
office working and having fun.

When I was a small boy growing up in Detroit
my father would come home every night after
work around 6:30 and before dinner he would
play with my brother and me before doing
anything else.

We would beg him to stand on his head and
Dad who was in good shape would do a head
stand for us. He loved to stand on his head
like a yogi right in the middle of the living
room.

Every time he did this, coins would fall from his
pockets.

My brother and I would scurry around and grab
as much loose change as we could while my father
pretended to protest, “give me back my money” from
his inverted position.

In truth it was as much fun for him as it was
for us.

My father was the youngest of a family of eight
and being the baby of that family was always having
fun with siblings even into adulthood.

Life for him was about play and having fun.

Dad successfully instilled this outlook of life
onto me and my brother.

Even when we would go with him to work in downtown
Detroit we had fun, maybe even the most fun of all.

The word work and the drudgery that goes along with
it never made any sense to me or my brother because
of this.

People hate to work but they use this word for
stuff that isn’t even work. Did you ever notice
that everywhere it does get used people are really
serious.

Serious people in the gym are Working Out.
For serious training you go to a Workshop.
When you’re serious about beauty you call
it a Work of art. If you’re serious about
your Work they say you have Work ethic.
Some even practice Spiritual Work.

I’ve done my best to work and be conscious
over the years,I really have, but most of
the time I can’t help but
consider how much fun I’m having.

If I’m not having fun or moving to a higher
level of “fun”in the sense of being able to
contribute; making a difference; learning;
growing and to feel that I am  part of a
successful group that is making a difference
in the world, it’s usually not fun and I am
not doing it or at least not for long.

What I’ve learned is that you can’t push
other people to work they are either workers
or not, but you can make it rewarding and Fun.
This gets you and others to be much more protective.
Everyone loves to have Fun.

Sometimes it’s just a matter of reminding ourselves
that we’re having fun.

Try it.

There are many situations that are supposed to be
fun that we often add tension to and they instantly
become serious situations or work.

At these times simply say aloud “This is fun”.

You’ll either break the tension in the room or
you’ll actually change the
orientation of yourself and others from one of
seriousness to one of FUN.

If you saw me doing Recharging Qi Gong with my
students on the beach I doubt you’d say that looks
like a lot of work. It’s actually a lot of fun and
it looks like fun, feels life Fun and it is Fun too.

Big smiles on everyones face and some occasional
laughter is normal.

This is not your usual “Workout” and so far it’s been
producing unusual results in those that have gotten
the program

and started to use it.

If you want more vitality and pep in your step I
encourage you to make a change.

and find out how you can use these simple and gentle
movements every day to pump up you Qi power and invigorate
your internal organs

Weird Way To Stop Feeling Sad (free video)

Several years ago, I met a young man who was
always sad –
always had a dark cloud hanging over his head.

He was a fitness fanatic and in pretty
good shape, but had never gone deep into the
kind of exercises
I teach, which transform your body on an
internal as well as external level.

After a couple years,he tried just one
of these exercises out.
He didn’t think much of it because it was
really easy to do, so he start with just
a minute or two per day.

Soon that became 5 minutes. Then 10.

And all of a sudden he was transformed.

He looked better, felt better,
and had more energy.
People even started liking him more –
automatically. And he never saw that
benefit coming!
All because he took a chance on
something new, and tried out an exercise
even though it seemed
too simple and easy to do.

Today he’s a changed man, and it all
started with one simple exercise.
Just recently,
he made a video about his story
which you can watch here:

Make sure your speakers are turned on so
you can listen to his enthusiasm as he
tells his tale.

Why Stretch Out Your Mind?

Friday, July 1st, 2011

My body was aching this morning when
I woke up and just by chance a friend
dropped by the office who owns a
unique company, “The Stretch Zone.”
You may be wondering what the
heck is the Stretch Zone is all about.

Jordan, the developer came up
with a great therapy
and that is just what I need for my
sore body. He stretches every
muscle in your body and you just
lie on his cool custom table.
It’s almost like having someone do a
Yoga class on you.

Instead of you doing the stretches—
he does the stretching for you!
He developed this system after many years
of work as a personal trainer and now
he stretches people and gives them
exercises to keep their bodies
in great shape.

When I trained on the beach
I pulled a muscle.
It could have been from a high kick
or from running in the surf. I’m not
exactly sure what I did to myself but
I woke up sore.
My stretch guy worked on every muscle
group in my body, slowly stretching
and unraveling the knot that I seemed
to have tied in myself.

He worked the synthesizes, which are
controlled stretching techniques that
help the autonomic nervous system.
It quickly improves muscle symmetry,
and eliminates the pain.
This put the muscles to rest
and I was back to full range and pain
Free in just 1 ½ hours.

What was unique about the treatment
is the Stretch Zone Table that he designed
with adjustable belts, pads, and straps
allowing for the speedy extension of muscles
further than the central nervous system
would normally permit.

When you train as much as I do it’s a
good idea to get a massage, have
someone to stretch you and to take a
sauna at least once a week to relax the
body and keep in good shape.
When I got off of the table, I felt three
inches taller and all of the pain
was gone, I felt great!

I was back to training this morning.
I started by walking backwards 1000
steps, then I did the

Recharging Qi Gong:

for about 20 minutes and moved right into the

Flying Crane Qi Gong exercise:
http://rechargingqigong.com/flying-crane-qi-gong.html.

I winded it up by doing the automatic
move and went deep into a meditation.
I felt my energy body relaxing at a deep
level and by the time I ended my
training I was super charged and at
the same time I felt totally relaxed.
It was like being on vacation.
