What makes you Happy?

What makes you Happy?
Is it your health, relationships,
wealth, power or position?
A group of researchers came up
with a list of 10 of the most important
things in life that create happiness.

I discovered the article in
Reader’s Digest and began to think
a lot of what makes us happy.
Here is what they said:

“Over the last 70 years researchers
have been probing happy and unhappy
people, and they’re finally zeroing in on
the factors that make a difference.
What follows are the top ten. By the
way, the experts think your genes
account for about 50 percent of your
disposition; the other nine factors
make up the rest.”
1. Wealth-
Money can buy a degree
of happiness. But once you can afford
to feed, clothe and house yourself, each
extra dollar makes less and less difference.
Once your basic needs are met, money
only seems to boost happiness if you
have more than your friends,
neighbors and colleagues.

2. Desire-
How much stuff do
you need to feel good? In the 1980s,
political scientist Alex Michalos,
professor emeritus at the University
of Northern British Columbia in Prince George,
asked 18,000 college students in 39
countries to rate their happiness on a
numeric scale. Then he asked them how
close they were to having all they wanted.
He found that the people whose
aspirations — not just for money, but for
friends, family, job, health, the works — soared
furthest beyond what they already had,
tended to be less happy than those who
perceived a smaller gap. Indeed, the size of
the gap predicted happiness about five times
better than income alone.
This “aspiration gap” might explain why
most people fail to get much happier as
their salaries rise. Instead of satisfying
our desires, most of us merely want more.
The good life remained always just out of reach.

3. Intelligence-
Are smart people happier?
Intelligence has no effect. Some researchers
speculate that brighter people could have higher
expectations and thus be dissatisfied with
anything less than the highest achievements.
“Or maybe scoring high on an IQ test — which
means you know a lot of vocabulary and can
rotate things in your mind — doesn’t have
a lot to do with your ability to get along
well with people,” says Ed Diener, a
psychologist at the University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign. He speculates that
“social intelligence” could be the real
key to happiness.

4. Genetics-
David Lykken, a behavioral
geneticist and professor emeritus of
psychology at the University of Minnesota,
Minneapolis, believes our feeling of well-being
at any moment is determined half by what is
going on in our lives at that time and half by
a “set point” of happiness, which is up
to 90 percent genetically determined and
to which we eventually return after
dramatic events, our happiness set point is
largely determined by our genes.
They have found that genetic variation
accounted for between 44 and 55 percent
of the difference in happiness levels.
Neither income, marital status, religion
nor education accounted for any more
than about 3 percent.

5. Beauty-
Good-looking people really
are happier. The most attractive faces are
highly symmetrical, and there is evidence
that symmetry reflects good genes and a
healthy immune system. Beautiful people
are happier because they are healthier.

6. Friendship-
family and friends because
of the social support that arises from the
importance of the extended family.

7. Marriage-
Married people are consistently
happier than singletons. Happy people are
more likely to get married and then stay married.
But anyone can improve his or her mood by
getting married. The effect begins about a
year before the “happy day” and lasts for at
least a year afterward.

8. Faith-
Karl Marx was fairly close
to the mark when he described
religion as an opiate for the masses.
Of the dozens of studies that have
looked at religion and happiness,
the vast majority has found a positive link.
They even live longer.

9. Charity-
Several studies have found
a link between happiness and altruistic
behavior. But as with many behavioral
traits, it is not always clear whether
doing good makes you feel good, or
whether happy people are more likely
to be altruistic.

10. Age-
Why are old people happier?
Some scientists suggest older people may
expect life to be harder and learn to live
with it, or they’re more realistic about
their goals, only setting ones that
they know they can achieve. With
time running out, older people have
learned to focus on things that make
them happy and let go of those that don’t.

“When I was 5 years old, my mother always
told me that happiness was the key to life.
When I went to school, they asked me what
I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down
‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the
assignment, and I told them they didn’t
understand life.” -John Lennon

Not everyone is born with a sunny
disposition, but experts agree we can
all learn how to bring more meaning
and satisfaction into our lives.

I have spent many years in
perfecting meditations, exercises
and adjusting my diet and mental
outlook to staying healthy and happy.
I practice every day and do what I
say and say what I do. It’s no accident
that I am healthy and happy. I practice
and train to be there and stay
there and so can you.

In search of a Good Meal

Friday, January 27th, 2012
Share

For the last few years I have been looking
for a good breakfast place near my house.
God knows I have tried everyone within a 5 mile
radius of my house and I am sorry to say there just
aren’t any good ones, but I kept on searching.

I knew there must be something around.
Most restaurants serve eggs, bacon, toast and coffee
but they don’t think about health. Breakfast is often
called the most important meal of the day and there
are good reasons for that.
When you wake up in the morning, your body has
been fasting, for hours.
Breakfast literally means, “Break the fast.”
A good breakfast gives your body and brain
the energy they need to function.
By eating breakfast, you’ll be less likely to overeat
later in the day. If you’re trying to lose weight,
don’t try to cut calories by skipping breakfast.
Studies have shown that most people who have lost
weight and kept it off eat breakfast every day.
Research has shown that those who eat a healthy
breakfast are more productive than those who don’t.
We know school reports that children who eat
breakfast get higher test scores and perform
better all year long.

What I prefer in the morning is protein like eggs at
least a few days a week with vegetables and
occasionally I’ll add some smoked salmon or turkey.
I usually do 2 whites to one whole egg.
A few mornings I just eat fruit and drink tea, and
this really gets the bowels moving and keeps the
system clean. As for the other days I drink a good
protein drink like I-5 from Zymogen -16 grams of
protein, all of the amino’s and the necessary vitamins.

I’ll add a scoop of “Greens First,” it’s filled with all of
the fruits and vegetables you’ll need for the entire day
in 1 scoop and I make sure I take my vitamins with it.

You can order the I5 and the Greens First
by letting me know and I’ll send it out the next day.

Taking Responsibility for your own Health

Tuesday, January 10th, 2012

Debbie came into the office and brought all of
her medicine with her.
She said, “Do I have to take all of this all of the time?”

I asked her how long she was taking these prescriptions
and when was the last time she saw her doctor. She said
that it was given to her by different doctors over the
years and she said, “I just keep refilling my prescription
and taking it year in and year out.”
I said, “When was the last time you checked with
your doctor to see if your medicine was still necessary?”

She told me it was last year and that is the last
time she had checked anything!

I said, “Debbie, it’s time that you took responsibility
for your own health. Half of your pills, you’ve been
taking over the last 4 years, and you don’t have a
clue what they’re for!”

She told me that she doesn’t really eat meals and
more or less grazes all day long. One of Debbie’s
biggest complaints is that she has acid reflex and
gets heart burn and is constantly burping. I asked her
if she knew what her pH was and she told me she didn’t
have a clue what that was.

I told her about a simple test that she could do herself.
Get a package of pH indicator paper and then every
morning when she wakes up, take one of the little strips
and on the first urination, dip the strip into the urine.
This will tell you if you are acid or alkaline.
It has been said that caner cannot live in an alkaline
system and that’s why we alkalize!

I always have these strips in my office available for patients.
There are a few great formulas that I use to change a persons
system from acid to alkaline. I also suggested to her that
she starts drinking vegetable juices, cuts out sugar and meat
if her body is acidic. This will help to get rid of things like
joint problems, tiredness, irritability, acid reflex and depression.

She can perform this simple test by herself
and make some changes in her diet.
You can take responsibility for your own health!

I asked Debbie what exercises she did?
“Exercise?”
“Do I have to do that?”

Exercise can put you in control of your health.
If you have a car and you drive it all the time it will ware
out soon and break down.

But our bodies are different!
If the body isn’t used it will break down sooner, that’s why
it’s so important to exercise and to do the right exercises to keep you healthy.

The Recharging Qi Gong is a series of exercises that takes less
than a half an hour to do. It works on three different levels.
To balance the body physically, to calm the emotions, and to
open up the spiritual channels. This takes about 15 minutes a
day and in less than 30 days you will be feeling great.

Get it today!

How to Party Day & Night and Still Stay Healthy

Friday, December 16th, 2011

Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la!!!!

You know what that means?
We eat, eat, eat and drink, drink, drink!

Over the holiday season, with all of
the festive activities and fun, we all have
the tendency to over-eat; over-drink, and
worst of all, eat all of the wrong foods.

Sugar cookies, sticky eggnog, basically
all fat and sugar!

This is a great way to spike your insulin
levels, clog your arteries and set you up for
the February Flu. It’s not that any of us are
going to miss any of the parties or any of the fun!
We are all going to eat some junk and enjoy it!
Let me tell you a little trick!

NEVER EVER put anything into your mouth
that you say is not good for you.
Let me give you an example:

I was out with Sherly the other day, and we
stopped at a little coffee shop to chat.
She ordered a big piece of chocolate cake
and a double espresso. She sat down and with
a big grin on her face, she said, “I know I shouldn’t
eat this, it will probably go right to my thighs!”
So, what Sherly did is she actually cursed the cake
and instructed it to make her thighs fat by eating it.
So many people do this, it’s amazing to me!!!

If you are going to eat something, the best thing
you can say is, “this is going to make me feel good,”
or that “this is going to make me healthy!”

That’s why it’s so important to say a little prayer
before you put anything in your mouth. It’s the
same with medicine, you never want to take a pill
and say, “this is killing me!”

When taking your medicine or your vitamins, you
should instruct the pill to do what you want it to do.

Let me give you an example:
When I take my vitamins, and I take them every day,
I always say to myself as I swallow them;
“I feel good, I feel great, these vitamins
will make my body radiate!”

You can tell your medicine or your vitamins
what you want them to do for you. You can use the
little jungle that I always use, or make up your own.

Over the holiday season, we all party and have fun,
but the one thing that you want to do is you want to
keep up on your nutrition. When we deprive
our body of good food, proper sleep, and days of
partying, we need to supplement. The easiest and
fastest way to keeping yourself healthy and vibrant,
is to get proper nutrition into your body.
Every day, I take my
vitamin packs in the morning and in the evening.

The Multi-Four is incredible!
Order yours today and stay
healthy all season long!

How to Stay Bug Free While Traveling

Friday, December 9th, 2011
Share

I am about to do some
holiday travel for a few days.
I will be flying up North for
some alone time to write,
meditate and relax.
Although I love to travel, air travel
isn’t as much fun as it used to be.
Especially if you’re on commercial
flights! There is no real food, small
seats and lots of time delays.
When you fly for hours with a group of
people from all over the
World, you never know what bug you can pickup.

Things like colds, flu’s, coughs
or something much worse. I am thinking of
wearing a mask so I am not breathing in
everyone’s germs.
We all know that the airports aren’t the healthiest
places with the over crowded planes filled to
capacity with a bunch of stressed out
people herded into flying machines with crying
babies, bad air, rude employees,
and pissed off passengers.

When I first took a flight years ago, you would
get dressed up to go somewhere and order your
food in advance. You felt you were one
of the privileged to fly. It’s still exciting to
travel for me and it’s one
of the keys to wealth and opportunities in the
Chinese Fung Shui—

Whenever I travel, I make sure I am
in tip top shape.
I always prepare for my trips in advance
to avoid getting
stressed out.

When traveling, you can avoid stressing out
and stay healthy as well.
Here’s how I do it:

1. A few weeks before I hit the road I
start my program.

I increase my meditation and my Qi gong,
paying special attention to the
water element- the Kidneys and the Adrenals,
this builds more internal power
and you can blow your stress away easily.

2. I really Beef-up on my vitamins and
minerals, especially the Vitamin B,
Vitamin C and I take the Chinese tonics
if I am going into the cold.

3. Sleep is really important to keep you stress free.
Get a good nights sleep the day before you travel.
I always travel with my own pillow that makes
every bed I sleep in feel comfortable.

4. Eat good meals with protein and veggies for a
few days before you travel and on the trip.
While traveling, make sure you’re well nourished
and stay light on the carbs, skip the coffee,
chocolate and alcohol.

5. I drink at least 2 quarts of pure water to stay
well hydrated. Flying will dehydrate
your entire system and prune you out.
You may not realize it, but you can easily
suffer from dehydration on airplanes,
especially on long flights. That’s because
air in an airline cabin is usually much dryer than the air on Earth.

6. Keep your colon healthy and your
bowels moving. I increase the amount of oil I ingest.
I like Udo’s oil 3.6.9, you can pick it up at the
health food store and good pure fish oil.

The vitamins and minerals that work the best
for my patients and me are:

Oxy-Hydrate; a powerful one that keeps
the colon healthy.

Adrenal Qi boosts your adrenal glands to keep you stress free.

“The Ten Linguistic Viruses.”

Thursday, October 20th, 2011
Share

Attention:
Communication skills affect
all of us in all walks of life.
“Communications is the response you get.”
The information presented here will be most valuable
in changing your Karma.

Last Wednesday I shared some
real gems on communication skills
and I promised you that I would share
with you the “The Ten Linguistic Viruses.”
It is from an article written by,
Matthew Budd, M.D., and Larry Rothstein, Ed.D.
I always keep my promises.

Before I give you the goods, I have
observed from my students and patients
some gems in regards to communications.
When a student tells me that he his going
to do something and doesn’t do it, it causes
more havoc in their life than one could ever imagine.
Here is an example: I’ve known John for years,
every time I see him he says,
“Dr. Wu I am going to meet you on the
beach in the morning to train will you
call me in the morning?”

So for a few weeks I did call John early
in the morning to remind him but he always
has an excuse on why he can’t go.
Sometimes it’s about the wind being too
strong, other times it’s about no wind at
all and it’s too still for him. What makes
me laugh is the evening calls are all about
being ‘gung ho’ to train and get in shape
but the morning calls are all about excuses.
I don’t know if John really gets what he is
doing to himself; it’s costly in more ways
than one could imagine.
When you say you’re going to do something,
you are giving your word, your promise to perform.
When you don’t do it you are not only breaking
your word and your promise, you are
causing a break in your integrity.

Our body and mind likes to be congruent,
so when you are continually breaking the
commitment and promise of doing what you
say you will do then your body and mind will
naturally still strive to keep you honest.

Listed below, are the
“Ten Linguistic Viruses.”
They attack relationships, alter
the structures
of the individuals in them and cause
dissatisfaction, bad moods and
even ill health. Learning what they are
will allow you to listen to
others more effectively, and heal them
as well as yourself.

1. NOT MAKING REQUESTS.

There may be something that you
want or need from someone else, but
you don’t make a request. Why is this?
You may have a reluctance or
fear about asking others for something:
They could say no and cause
you to feel rejected. In fact, a no to a
request is just that, no to
the action of requesting, not a rejection
of the person.

Another reason people don’t make
requests is that they’re afraid
others will think they’re incompetent.
But making a request is not an
admission of weakness. The president of
the United States or the CEO
of a large corporation makes a staggering
number of requests each day.
In fact, one aspect of power is the capacity
to make powerful requests.

Still another reason people don’t make
requests is that they think a
request is an imposition. They forget that
one way that people achieve
meaning in their lives is in fulfilling the
requests of others.
A request simply invites another person to
participate in your life.
Take this as a way to honor others,
not to burden them.

2. LIVING WITH UN-COMMUNICATED EXPECTATIONS.

A common form of “not requesting”
occurs when an individual lives in
a world of expectations that are really
just unexpressed requests.

Often we have private conversations
with ourselves about what others
should and should not do. But we never
make overt requests of these
people. Subsequently, when they don’t do
what we expect, we’re
disappointed, resentful and angry.

The solution is to translate “shoulds”
into clear requests.
The benefit will be less resentment,
less anger, less guilt and more
satisfying relationships.

3. MAKING UNCLEAR REQUESTS.

A husband may say to his wife,
“I want you to support my career.”
Can you see that the husband may have a
different picture than the wife of
what “support” looks like?

What kind of support? When? All of
this information is missing. Later
on, when a minor problem arises, the
maker of the unclear request is
likely to say, “You promised to support
my career, but you didn’t!”

To coordinate your life successfully
with others, your requests must
be precise and detailed. You’re not
insulting the listener, you’re
setting up the possibility for mutual satisfaction.
It’s not enough
that you understand; the person receiving the
request must share your
understanding.

4. NOT OBSERVING THE MOOD OF YOUR REQUESTS

The mood of your utterance, as
much as your words, affects the
listener. If you’re demanding, people
might decline your requests
because they see you as arrogant and
righteous, or they might make
promises to you out of intimidation, not choice.

My high school algebra teacher
always made requests in the tone and
mood of demands. Students rarely declined
his requests, but acted
resentfully when they tried to do
what he had asked.

A suggestion: Observe the mood
produced in the listener of your
request; adjust your mood to produce
the “listening” you want.

5. PROMISING EVEN WHEN YOU
AREN’T CLEAR WHAT WAS REQUESTED.

Committing yourself when you aren’t
clear about what you’ve committed
to is foolish. Sometimes a person thinks
he knows what’s being asked
of him, so he begins an activity, such as
making a meal. But as he
goes along, his lack of clarity is revealed.
He becomes confused.
What did she really want?
What if I’m doing it wrong?

If you’re not sure what the requester
wants, clarify it with him or
her. You won’t look stupid. Rather,
you’ll be building an identity of
being committed to fulfilling his or her request.

6. NOT DECLINING REQUESTS.

Some of us say yes to every request.
We’ve been trained to please
other people, and this is made manifest
in our compliance. The problem
with this belief is that it’s destructive
for both you and others.

The yes sayers’ are often overloaded
with promises to keep. The result
is a perpetual fear of failure, which
prompted the compliance in the
first place. This vicious cycle generates
anxiety, exhaustion and
burnout.

Things aren’t much better for the people
receiving the yes sayers’
promises. They never know which
promises will be fulfilled and which
ones are in jeopardy. Over time, people
become distrustful of the yes
sayer. They think, “You just never can
be sure about him; he’s not
sincere.”

An inability to say no is not a problem
of articulation or diction,
but of an embodied tendency to have
to say yes, to be “nice” and not
to upset others. Learning to say no
requires practice for those yes
sayers who find it difficult.

7. BREAKING PROMISES WITHOUT
TAKING CARE: UNDERMINING TRUST.

When you make a promise, you’re building
expectations that you will
take action. If the promise is broken, the
person will begin to lose
trust in you and feel betrayed.

We are all human and cannot know the future.
In the process of
fulfilling a promise, things may happen that
keep you from completion.

If you simply ignore your promise, you’re
consciously betraying your
word and not taking care of the other party.
In contrast, if you
contact the requester, describe the present
problems that are keeping
you from fulfilling your promise, apologize
for the broken promise,
offer to make a new promise in a time frame
that you can guarantee and
assist with the cleaning up of any
mess that you produced.

8. TREATING ASSESSMENTS AS FACTS.

There is no truth to statements of judgment.
You can provide evidence
for what you say, but that still doesn’t
make it the truth. If we
treat assessments as truth, conflict arises.

People who hold their assessments as the
truth are generally rigid or
arrogant. They cannot stand diversity and
become angry at
differences. These people are a pain to be
around and are themselves
uneasy.

9.MAKING ASSESSMENTS
WITHOUT RIGOROUS GROUNDING.

Even though your judgments
aren’t the truth, you can make them with
rigorous “grounding” – that is, you
can say what you say based on
evidence.

People who make assessments
without rigor are viewed as flaky and full
of opinions that change like the weather.
They aren’t taken seriously
and they often suffer from insecurity and
low self-esteem. Gossip is
an especially harmful kind of assessment,
which lacks rigor and
purpose. Gossips get a false sense
of power from this activity, but
underneath they remain insecure and uneasy.

Connect your declarations with
possible plans for action for which you
are accountable, preferably to someone else.

10.MAKING FANTASY
AFFIRMATIONS AND DECLARATIONS.

When you make a fantasy affirmation
or declaration, you assume that it
will happen by itself. An example
would be declaring that you would
like to start a restaurant, even though
you don’t know anything about
cooking or how to run a business.

By contrast, a realistic affirmation or
declaration pictures a reality
that does not yet exist, but is attainable
through a series of
reasonable steps.

The 10 Linguistic Viruses not only create
ineffectiveness and friction
between people, but also produce negative
mood states, which, in turn,
threaten your well-being and health.
For instance, people who never
make requests usually don’t get what they
want in life and are often
disappointed and stuck. Such people may
have secret expectations of
others, which they never express. This also
leads to disappointment
and anger and resentment.

Inertia and anger are both negative mood
states that produce bodily changes in the
muscles, circulation, heart
and brain. People who can’t decline requests
also place their health
in jeopardy. They are often overburdened
and become exhausted, burned
out and depressed.

If language is the foundation upon which
human life is built, on which
we construct our human interactions and
even our notion of self, then
competence in language will bring you more
satisfaction, joy and
effectiveness in living.
My work with thousands of patients bears
this out. When people become aware
of their behavior in the
linguistic domain, they achieve greater
effectiveness, greater
satisfaction and a better mood.

I wish you the best in your Health,
Wealth and Happiness

A Weekend with the Master

Friday, August 12th, 2011

Last weekend Stephen flew
in from Toronto for a private
coaching session with me.
A few weeks ago he called and
said he was going through a crisis
in just about every part of his
life and he needed a complete
tune-up physically, mentally and
spiritually. He flew in Friday night
and I picked him up at the Ft. Lauderdale
airport. We had dinner and went over
his program and treatment plan
for the next two days.

Early Saturday morning we started at
6 o’clock on the beach for the Qi Gong
training. This works on all levels
incorporating the Taoist and Buddhist
internal meditations, advanced Qi gong
practices, the internal energy work and
the advanced sexual practices.

After breakfast we took a little break and
later that morning Steve met me at my office.
We went over his blood work, diet and started
the treatments with acupuncture,
Medical Qi Gong, and Neuro-Therapy
which is all the homeopathic and
vitamin injections.

In the private coaching sessions we
work from morning until night. It’s intense
working on all levels at once to get the
maximum amount of growth in the least
amount of time. By the end of the
weekend he reported more energy than
he ever had and I could see and feel the
increase in his energy levels.
The one-on-one sessions are powerful;
there is a lot of information and
knowledge passed along in a very
short time.

The reason I insist on extensive blood
work is because it gives me a scientific
pictures of what’s going on internally.
The energy medicine gives us insight into
meridian health and quality of energy flow
and the Medical Qi Gong gives us a look
into both the spiritual openings, blockages
and where they needs to be addressed.

One formula that I use that is really
helpful is the magic square which allows
the student to set their goals on 9
different levels and balance all the domains.

That evening he came over to my
house so we could catch a bite to eat.
He had a ton of questions on just about
everything he saw, felt and experienced.

Over dinner we reviewed the weekend
and came up with a 3 month plan as
well as a 2 week plan, this way the
changes are made and checked.
This formula is a sure fire way to
revamp your system mentally,
physically and spiritually.

Years ago I was trained by multi
tasking and it proved to make me
the person I am today.

When you multi task, you do
everything at once. I got up in the
morning and started the meditation, right
after the meditation when other students
would go back to their rooms to rest and
get ready for the day, I immediately
started breakfast for 80 people, as I
was one of the chief cooks. When the
students were busy cleaning up for breakfast,
that’s when I was working on 2-3 patients,
and when the teacher started the program,
I was the first one in class and every time
there was a break I had a project to do.
I cut my sleep down to only 3 hours a night
and worked out and meditated in those
hours that most people were sleeping.
When you do this type of intensive and
multi task, you push yourself through
blockages that you may have mentally,
physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
This is a way to promote maximum
growth in the least amount of time.

This is exactly what I pushed Steve
through for those 2 days. If you’ve
got the cojones to make changes in
your life and you want it now,

How to Clear yourself from Toxic Overload

When a person comes into
my office as a patient they
always fill out the usual papers
on their health history.

Then they meet with me and are
usually somewhat caught off balance
by the unusual way of determining
the appropriate treatment. I always
take a look at their tongue, feel the
pulses and ask some important health
questions that help unravel their health
problems that most doctors don’t take
the time to go over.

1. What’s your main symptom, why does it bother you?
2. When was the last time you felt good?
3. Do you have any pain? Where is it and on a scale from 1-10
4. What do you plan to gain from the treatment?
5. Were you breast feed as a child?
6. Do you get colds easily or did you as a child?
7. Did you suffer from allergies or asthma as a child?
8. Have you ever had your tonsils or appendix taken out?
9. Do you have any amalgam fillings or root canals?
10. Have you taken antibiotics?
11. Do you feel tired after eating?
12. Do you have a regular bowel movement?
13. What foods don’t you do well with?
14. How much liquid do you drink per day?
15. What do you fear the most?
16. What do you feel is the cause of your problem?

All of these questions reveal hidden secrets
about your immune system, the function
of your lymphatic system and if your body
is suffering from Toxic over load.

You maybe asking yourself what the heck
is toxic overload?

That’s when we are exposed to chemicals
in pesticides, plastics, cosmetics, cleaning solvents,
and many other common products they build
up to toxic levels in our bodies and break
down our natural defenses against disease.

Let’s say there is a pile of garbage,
parasites, fungus and bacteria that
will come to eat the garbage, this is a
natural occurrence that’s how
organic material is broken down.
Or you can kill the parasite fungus and
bacteria with poisons which will work
for awhile but they will return. But if you
clear the garbage up there is nothing to
eat and the parasites and other things
will not come back. When you eliminated
the source of the problem it’s gone forever.

We start out life with a clean system.
As we age, we are exposed to toxins in
the food we eat, the water we drink and the
air we breathe. Before you know it we have a
toxic over load where diseases begin to develop.

We can kill them with pharmaceutical drugs,
but that’s not a cure and they damage the body trying.
For every action there is a reaction and every
pharmaceutical drug has side effects. If we
detox we can clean out our systems and
keep our immune systems functions running well.

I use many different detox programs to assist the
body in healing and staying healthy.

Some are as simple as a drink that you take for 4 weeks

http://www.energymedicineflorida.com/detox-kit.html

and some are more extensive like the 2 week program

http://www.energymedicineflorida.com/two-week-cleanse.htmlthat

Detox involves everything from changing your
fillings in your teeth to high colonics. It depends
what symptoms you have and how serious you
are in getting back to optimal health.

Consistency! Could that be the key to your Health?

All day Saturday I was with a group
of 50 doctors at an exciting seminar
on nutrition. You may be asking
yourself, what’s so exciting
about nutrition anyway?

Food is our medicine or it should be,
but in today’s world there is so much
pollution in our water, soil and air that
we can no longer get the proper nutrition
from the food we eat. We need to
supplement our diets to stay in shape
and to have the energy we need to run
our lives as healthy and stress free as we can.

The type of food and the quality of your food
makes all the difference in our health and our
chances of longevity. Our food isn’t nearly
as clean as it was 30 to 50 years ago.

My mother who is 91 years old said,
“There was no such thing as organic
food when I was growing up, because
it was all organic.”
No, GMO’s, No poison sprays and
the fertilizers were all from the
compose pile, a real recycling system.
She went on to say,
“Your grandmother always had a garden
because food was expensive and that’s
how she helped feed the family.
I don’t know why people don’t grow
vegetable gardens today. If they
did they would have better food,
save money and give the children a
chance to see how things grow.”

As long as I can remember we always
had a vegetable garden, and my family
passed that knowledge down from
generation to generation. I always
plant a garden and my children
always have one too.
Gardening can help you with your
meditation and Qi Gong rooting
and grounding practices.

“The greatest gift of the garden is
the restoration of the five senses.”
~Hanna Rion

Unfortunately, for all of us the nutrients
in the soil have been depleted, and
food grown in soil has fewer nutrients.
Chemicals are used in raising both
plants and animals, particularly on
huge industrial farms. What they are
producing surely isn’t about your
health or mine, you can mark my words.

Our Diet lacks nutrients and relies heavily
on processed foods that include artificial
color, additives, flavorings, and
chemically altered fats and sweeteners.
There are many reasons why we might
want to pay attention to what we eat.
We especially need to pay attention when
we are sick so we can help our bodies
get the nutrients we need to heal.
There are many health benefits if
we look at food as medicine.

“Let your food be your medicine,
and your medicine be your food.”
~ Hippocrates

Getting the right nutrients into our
bodies are keys to optimum long-term health.
That’s why we need to supplement our
diet along with the right foods.
A multivitamin is the best starting
point for everybody and every BODY.

To put it in simple terms, you
wouldn’t supercharge your car if
the spark plugs were fouled out, would you?

I have tried many different vitamins
and supplements with thousands of
patients in the last 30 years. There are
many products on the market today
that aren’t worth a dime. You are literally
flushing your money down the toilet.

We have researched over 75 different
companies, and have found that
pharmaceutical grade dietary
supplements and vitamins are
the most valuable for long term health.

There is a difference between
something that is expensive and
something that is valuable to your health.
This formula will give you the most value
for the buck.
I have been working with a
team of researchers, nutritionist
and doctors to formulate the top
of the line in a full spectrum Multivitamin.

Qi Essentials “Multi-Four” is a combination
of three targeted nutritional formulas
packaged together to provide
convenience and comprehensive
nutritional support.

Auto-pilot training to build in muscle memory

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2011
Share

When we are young and somewhat
immature, health is not a big concern.
I know in my younger days I thought
I was somewhat invincible and although
I have been training and working-out
since I was a teenager, I never put
much attention on health, sickness or wellness.
Probably because I never had any sickness
or death in my family until I was well
into my twenties.

By that time my training and daily workouts
were on my autopilot well ingrained into my
muscle memory and habit body.

The reason I always encourage you to train is,
if you keep it going you will build
in a habit body & muscle memory, that will
last a life time.
It will keep you younger and healthier.

That is one of the keys to Longevity.

As you mature, you hopefully become
more aware of not only your own situation
but others as well. As we move through
the different stages of life,
things around us
will constantly be changing–
they are all lesions to be learned.

When you experience any dis-ease,
no matter if it’s a common cold, an
emotional upset or a serious disease
it effects everyone around you as well.

If it’s a family member you will notice
it right away. If it’s a co-worker
and you are in the same office you are
going to notice their situation within a
few days or within a week for sure.

Why? Because it will effect you personally.
Maybe you’ll have to pick up the slack in
the office and do more work, or you may
catch what they have.
Just having someone around with
problems will effect you energetically.

But let us say it is someone thousands
of miles away, it can still affect us.
Take for example someone in Africa who
has Aids and comes into our country and
spreads the disease. It affects all of us.

“Getting well and feeling well
is a comprehensive growth process
that encompasses our entire humanity.”
-Dr. Reimar Banis

We only become healthy if everybody
is healthy. Getting well and staying
well is one of the most important tasks
in each person’s life.
Most people only notice their health
after they lose it or when they recovery
from a dis-ease.

All good Healers, no matter if they
are MD’s, Chiropractors, Massage
Therapists, Acupuncturists or Energy
Workers, promote self-healing by
providing profound stimulation for
the self-knowledge.

Help never really comes from the outside;
it is only to be reawakened within us to
bring a person back to true health and
happiness.
We can therefore rightly say nature heals.

Getting well and feeling well is a
comprehensive growth process that
encompasses our entire humanity.

When you make the conscious effort to
change your health, you will change the
health of everyone around you.

The programs that I teach
are all about becoming healthier mentally,
physically and spiritually.
It makes no difference if you
begin with

The Recharging Qi Gong program,

The Flying Crane Qi Gong program
