<p>This morning I was walking with a few<br />
friends down to the sea. The weather was just<br />
perfect- around 65 degrees with no humidity<br />
and fluffy white clouds in the sky. As I looked over<br />
the ocean, I saw the beautiful morning sun peeking<br />
its radiant head, I automatically went into a meditation<br />
and started doing my internal Qi Gong practices.</p>
<p>My friends joined in and after a few minutes I could<br />
sense that there was an incredible amount of energy<br />
around me. I turned around and there was a group of<br />
strangers that joined in.  The energy was intense and I<br />
could feel the Qi moving in all of my meridians as if I<br />
were lit up like a Christmas tree. The practice went on<br />
for about 45 minutes although it seemed like it was only<br />
a few minutes. When I came out of the practice I could see the<br />
entire group had a special glow around them.</p>
<p>I introduced myself and everyone had a slew of questions on<br />
what just happened, what we just did and how he or she<br />
could get more information and learn more about it.</p>
<p>“Well everyone,” I said, “You have just experienced the<br />
power of Qi Gong and the energy that you are feeling<br />
comes from all of the internal energy centers opening<br />
up. It’s an ancient Taoist longevity practice that has<br />
kept me far younger than my years and if you practice<br />
these special moves you can actually retard the aging<br />
process and keep you young, more flexible and youthful!!”</p>

<p>Debbie came into the office and brought all of<br />
her medicine with her.<br />
She said, “Do I have to take all of this all of the time?”</p>
<p>I asked her how long she was taking these prescriptions<br />
and when was the last time she saw her doctor. She said<br />
that it was given to her by different doctors over the<br />
years and she said, “I just keep refilling my prescription<br />
and taking it year in and year out.”<br />
I said, “When was the last time you checked with<br />
your doctor to see if your medicine was still necessary?”</p>
<p>She told me it was last year and that is the last<br />
time she had checked anything!</p>
<p>I said, “Debbie, it’s time that you took responsibility<br />
for your own health. Half of your pills, you’ve been<br />
taking over the last 4 years, and you don’t have a<br />
clue what they’re for!”</p>
<p>She told me that she doesn’t really eat meals and<br />
more or less grazes all day long. One of Debbie’s<br />
biggest complaints is that she has acid reflex and<br />
gets heart burn and is constantly burping. I asked her<br />
if she knew what her pH was and she told me she didn’t<br />
have a clue what that was.</p>
<p>I told her about a simple test that she could do herself.<br />
Get a package of pH indicator paper and then every<br />
morning when she wakes up, take one of the little strips<br />
and on the first urination, dip the strip into the urine.<br />
This will tell you if you are acid or alkaline.<br />
It has been said that caner cannot live in an alkaline<br />
system and that’s why we alkalize!</p>
<p>I always have these strips in my office available for patients.<br />
There are a few great formulas that I use to change a persons<br />
system from acid to alkaline. I also suggested to her that<br />
she starts drinking vegetable juices, cuts out sugar and meat<br />
if her body is acidic. This will help to get rid of things like<br />
joint problems, tiredness, irritability, acid reflex and depression.</p>
<p>She can perform this simple test by herself<br />
and make some changes in her diet.<br />

<p>I asked Debbie what exercises she did?<br />
“Exercise?”<br />
“Do I have to do that?”</p>
<p>Exercise can put you in control of your health.<br />
If you have a car and you drive it all the time it will ware<br />
out soon and break down. </p>
<p>But our bodies are different!<br />
If the body isn’t used it will break down sooner, that’s why<br />
it’s so important to exercise and to do the right exercises to keep you healthy. </p>
<p>The Recharging Qi Gong is a series of exercises that takes less<br />
than a half an hour to do. It works on three different levels.<br />
To balance the body physically, to calm the emotions, and to<br />
open up the spiritual channels. This takes about 15 minutes a<br />

<p>It’s 4 o’clock in the morning and<br />
it’s pitch black outside.<br />
It’s so dark; I can’t even see my<br />
hand in front of my face.</p>
<p>It’s just about the new moon and<br />
although it’s been cloudy and rainy in<br />
South Florida, I can still see some of the<br />
twinkling stars over the deep blue sea.</p>
<p>The reason I’m up so early and on<br />
the beach is I want to get in my Qi Gong<br />
practice today before I travel up north for<br />
 the holiday fun – and you know it’s going to be<br />
fun sitting by the fire bundled up being with<br />
my family and friends.</p>
<p>My daughter- in- law Dana is<br />
cooking this year and she is a great cook<br />
and In my honor everything is going to<br />
 be organic.</p>
<p>My mouth is watering already and I’m looking<br />
forward to all of the traditional Thanksgiving<br />
treats and especially being with my close friends<br />
and family.</p>

12 things that you still want to accomplish this year<br />
 and 12 things that you will do to serve others.</p>

 I have my winter clothes ready and packed, my<br />
boots, gloves, scarf and hats. They told me that<br />
they are expecting snow, It’s not often that I see snow!</p>
<p>But here I go—I’ll be spending this Thanksgiving<br />
with my Kids, Grandkids, my Mother and some Good Friends.</p>
<p>I’m really thankful to still have my mother around.<br />
She is going to be 92 in February and she has every<br />
bit of her facility. Mom is well read she reads two novels<br />
every week, and she breezes through at least a dozen<br />
or so magazines.<br />
She knows what’s happening politically and really has her<br />
options on what the government is doing, social issues<br />
 and she is a Detroit Lion and Detroit Tigers fan.<br />
 I talk to her every day and our conversations are always<br />
 Stimulating and built on love and respect for each other.</p>
<p>I’m going to be there for the Thanksgiving joy and<br />
that’s the reason  I am sharing my joy with all of you<br />

<p>Then something happened!<br />
When I turned “33” I changed most of my<br />
exercise from external to internal. Qi gong,<br />
Shen Gong and Nei Gong and what happened???<br />
I became much more powerful. My brain functioned<br />
better, I became more flexible and even my virility<br />
was function to its peak performance.<br />

<p>Last Thursday evening I drove to the<br />
Miami International airport to pick up<br />

<p>Whenever I have a guest in my home I always<br />
know that I am in for a unique experience and<br />
when the guest is a psychic you can count on more<br />
growth physically, mentally and spiritually.<br />
Since he’s been here I’ve changed my entire<br />
workout as well as meditations, practices, diet<br />

you are not open to the people and things around you.<br />

and you can be of service to others. This frees<br />

You bend or reach for<br />
something and you end up with a<br />
sharp pain that feels like a knife is stabbing you.</p>
<p>OH MY ACHING BACK!</p>
<p>It’s a fact that you will<br />
experience back pain at some<br />
point in your life, no matter<br />
how healthy and fit you are.<br />
I know I have!</p>
<p>It can happen from over reaching,<br />
an unexpected sneeze, or lifting<br />
even the lightest thing and there it<br />
goes.</p>
<p>Why is back pain so common?<br />
Our muscles have to work constantly to hold<br />
us upright against gravity and to move us around.<br />
These muscles can get tired,<br />
and being overweight as well as out of shape<br />
 causes even more problems.<br />
Strong muscles, in the central part of the body,<br />
(the core muscles) help to carry body weight and<br />
to prevent the spine from getting overloaded.<br />
When, these core muscles get weak,<br />
the spine must compensate and do extra work,<br />
therefore causing pain.</p>
<p>Things like over sitting, muscle spasm and stress can be a real pain.</p>
<p> * Sitting is worse for the back than standing.<br />
  The load shifts onto the disc as you lean<br />
  forward causing more strain and the muscles become tired.</p>
<p>* When less oxygen reaches the muscle,<br />
 there is more waste built up.<br />
 These changes trigger the muscle to go<br />
  into a spasm; it keeps firing on its own.</p>
<p>* Stress and tension tighten up the muscles,<br />
 making them more susceptible to injury.</p>
<p>I have found that for the most part,<br />
people don’t  stretch enough<br />
or they stretch wrong.<br />
As soon as they make a wrong movement,<br />
their back starts to hurt.</p>
<p>Stretching is one of the best solutions to a healthy<br />
and pain free back!</p>
<p>You’ll need no dangerous pain pills,<br />
no smelly creams and no Chiropractor.</p>
<p>Granted, it takes work, but remember there is<br />
no free lunch.<br />
You have to pay either way&#8211;<br />
with the pain or by doing the work.</p>
<p>Back pain can be a never ending problem<br />
or no problem at all.</p>
<p>Most traditional doctor’s treatment for back pain is<br />
 -pain-killers and anti-inflammatory, which will<br />
jack-up your stomach.<br />
Next, physical therapy, and if that<br />
doesn’t work, surgery.</p>
<p>As we age our flexibility decreases and<br />
our joints lose their range of motion.<br />
This can cause tightness, spasms and a<br />
number of back problems.</p>
<p>You can regain and maintain the<br />
flexibility, as well as prevent nagging<br />
back pain in only a few minutes a day.<br />
I have unlocked stiff painful muscles in<br />
only a few minutes with the right exercises<br />
and nipped back pain in the bud with<br />
long-term relief.</p>
<p>Here are a few exercises I recommend<br />
that have worked wonders for<br />
me and many of my patients:</p>
<p>1. Lying on the floor, place your right foot on the left knee.<br />
Using your left hand, gently pull your right knee<br />
towards the floor, twisting your spine and keeping<br />
the left arm straight out, hips and shoulders on the floor.<br />
Switch sides. Repeat 10 times.</p>
<p>2.  Lie on your back and<br />
bend both knees. Feet flat<br />
on the floor, arms out at shoulder level.<br />
Now, let your knees<br />
drop to the left and turn your head to the right.<br />
Repeat on the right side.<br />
Repeat 25 times on both sides</p>
<p>3. Lie on the floor and place<br />
your hands behind your head<br />
with your legs touching each other<br />
straight out. Begin to move your<br />
 Upper body from side to side.</p>
<p> 4. Get a large rubber ball, around 3 feet<br />
(you can find them at most sport stores).<br />
Sit on the ball and then slowly<br />
start to lie down on your back using the ball<br />
for support. Lie on the ball from 1 to 3 minutes.</p>

<p>When we are young and somewhat<br />
immature, health is not a big concern.<br />
I know in my younger days I thought<br />
I was somewhat invincible and although<br />
I have been training and working-out<br />
since I was a teenager, I never put<br />
much attention on health, sickness or wellness.<br />
Probably because I never had any sickness<br />
or death in my family until I was well<br />
into my twenties.</p>
<p>By that time my training and daily workouts<br />
were on my autopilot well ingrained into my<br />
muscle memory and habit body.</p>
<p>The reason I always encourage you to train is,<br />
if you keep it going you will build<br />
in a habit body &#038; muscle memory, that will<br />
last a life time.<br />
It will keep you younger and healthier.</p>
<p>That is one of the keys to Longevity.</p>
<p> As you mature, you hopefully become<br />
more aware of not only your own situation<br />
but others as well. As we move through<br />
the different stages of life,<br />
things around us<br />
will constantly be changing&#8211;<br />
they are all lesions to be learned.</p>
<p> When you experience any dis-ease,<br />
no matter if it’s a common cold, an<br />
emotional upset or a serious disease<br />
it effects everyone around you as well.</p>
<p>If it’s a family member you will notice<br />
it right away. If it’s a co-worker<br />
and you are in the same office you are<br />
going to notice their situation within a<br />
few days or within a week for sure.</p>
<p>Why? Because it will effect you personally.<br />
Maybe you’ll have to pick up the slack in<br />
the office and do more work, or you may<br />
catch what they have.<br />
Just having someone around with<br />
problems will effect you energetically.</p>
<p> But let us say it is someone thousands<br />
of miles away, it can still affect us.<br />
Take for example someone in Africa who<br />
has Aids and comes into our country and<br />
spreads the disease. It affects all of us.</p>

<p>We only become healthy if everybody<br />
is healthy.  Getting well and staying<br />
well is one of the most important tasks<br />
in each person&#8217;s life.<br />
Most people only notice their health<br />
after they lose it or when they recovery<br />
from a dis-ease.</p>

Therapists, Acupuncturists or Energy<br />
Workers, promote self-healing by<br />

the self-knowledge.</p>

it is only to be reawakened within us to<br />
bring a person back to true health and<br />
happiness.<br />
We can therefore rightly say nature heals.</p>
<p>Getting well and feeling well is a<br />
comprehensive growth process that<br />
encompasses our entire humanity.</p>
<p>When you make the conscious effort to<br />
change your health, you will change the<br />
health of everyone around you.</p>
