It was less than a week ago when I received
this letter from a friend and mentor.
Here is what he said.
“All I want to do when I’m finished is stare at
The walls or look out the windows. Not moving.
Not doing anything.
Just looking, taking it in … and breathing.
Sit and stare straight ahead for long periods
of time …
Just sitting. Looking straight ahead.Breathing.
Doing nothing.”

It may sound like he is depressed, on drugs or
just spaced out,
But he is actually in a very high meditative
place of being. The Taoists call that state
of aware “Wu Wei”

“An action that does not involve struggle or
excessive effort”.
The concept of “effortless action” like
Qi Gong and the Internal Martial Arts.

“Wu” can be translated as without.
A better way to think of it is as a paradoxical

     “The Action of non-action.”

Non doing is “what we mean by going with the
grain,rolling with the punch…”
- Alan Watts, The Watercourse Way

In China I was given the name of “Wu Di”
but when I returned to the homeland,
my spiritual master changed it from Di to Dhi.

Dr.Wu Dhi literally means,

“One who has no Enemies.”

The word “Dhi” is taken from the mantra (prayer)
to the deity that Manjushri, the Buddhist god who
stands for wisdom and knowledge, for the most
part the knowledge of linguistics and grammar.

     God knows I need that.

Wu Wei means “Without action, action without action,

      Effortless doing”.

The aim of Wu Wei is to achieve a state of perfect
equilibrium,or alignment with the Tao and,
as a result, obtain an irresistible form of
“soft and invisible” power.

One way to accomplish this state is to practice
the internal exercises like, Qi Gong, Nei Gong
and Shen Gong.

Students that come to me seek that stillness of
mind and internal power.

The Recharging Qi Gong Program.

http://www.rechargingqigong.com/recharging-qi-gong.html

builds the foundations to achieve the state of “Wu Wei”,
like getting the whole puzzle in a big box and
Qi Gong Inner circle programs
http://www.qigonginnercircle.com/ shows you how
all the pieces fit together.

Now is the time to know, knowing when to act
will give you great advantages in your body,
minds and spirit.

Act Now order today

After one of my would-be students called me an Obsessive Compulsive,
I looked up Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder (OCD) on Wikipedia.
It defined it as characterized by repetitive behavior.
The symptoms of this anxiety disorder may include repetitive
hand-washing; extensive hoarding; pre-occupation with sexual
or aggressive impulses, or with particular religious beliefs;
aversion to numbers; and somewhat strange habits, such as
opening a door and closing it numerous times before one enters
or leaves a room.
I can remember Ronny doing that all through high school.
We really thought he was eccentric.
“Obsessive–Compulsive” is part of the English lexicon,
and is often used in an informal or caricatured manner
to describe someone who is meticulous or perfectionist.
When I get into something I get into it 110%,
this so-called obsession has gotten a bad rap throughout the years.
When you put yourself wholeheartedly into your work,
your practice or your studies- the magic of creativity happens.
I can remember when I first turned my attention to the study
of Qi Gong and Internal Energy work more than 30 years ago.
I was called compulsive and considered a nut case by
family and friends.

That didn’t stop me for one second.

I took every class I could find. Practiced at least twice a day.
And I read everything I could get my hands on.
I made it a point to go to all the Qi Gong conferences,
flew to China to study with Qi Gong Masters and eventually
took the Masters and Doctoral program in Medical Qi Gong.
To this day, I still study and practice everyday.
Is that obsessive? Perhaps yes, perhaps no but there
is one thing that is for sure:
A productive obsession that you decide to cultivate
should be rooted in love, interest and a desire to
better your life.
There is nothing I wouldn’t do to hold on to my health
and vitality.
That’s why I urge you join me in practicing my program
before it’s too late.
Be obsessive about staying healthy.
Do it now!
For all the health and wealth in the world go to
www.Rechargingqigong.com and see your future life
bursting with strength and vitality.

The Moon was full; it was around dusk when I met up with the thirty people who gathered in the traditional healing circle in the park. The Ecuadorian Shamanic
”Fire Ceremony was about to begun.

I have been to many of these events through out the years, but this was a first in Florida for me and the first

with a shaman from South America

I know the importance of Fire Ceremonies and no matter what tradition they come from they open a new

path way for my growth. The purpose of this ceremony was to let go of old belief structures.

The Shaman blessed the space and welcomed in the Spirit of the sky, earth and the four directions.

We circled the fire and everyone there was getting ready for something to happen, which would hopefully change his or her life for the better.

The Tibetan Lamas, Daoism Priests and Shamans that I studied with all use fire rituals of some kind.

In fact most native peoples, as well as the Taoist and Buddhist shamans invoke the Fire element in there secrete rituals.

This Fire Ceremony was no exception, the Shaman invoke the four directions, ancestors,

the Earth energies, the universe and the spirit of the fire. This ceremony offers a cleansing of energy

field and patterns of long pending issues.

The goal is re-connecting with our true nature of pure heart-centered consciousness, each one of us received a shamanic cleansing. This ancient ceremony promoted healing on all levels.

When coming to the fire circle it is customary to create an offering out of a small stick. Using my breath,

blow this intention or prayer into the offering several times.

One additional offering is then placed in the fire for the Mother Earth.

Each person in the circle will blow their prayers for the planet into the offering

before it is placed into the fire.”

The four main ritual that use fire offerings in the Tibetan system called fire puja :

1.The Peaceful harmonizing Fire it to pacify the results of the three poisons, (worry , struggle and blame) ,

or to clear away obstacles and defilements. It may also be done to avoid difficulties and illnesses.

2. Increasing Ritual Fire Offerings can be performed for both one’s own and other’s benefit.

To increase wealth health and happiness

3. A decrease fire can be performed to get ride of obstacles on the path or even pests like rodents,

bugs or snakes. Also to subdue forces that is harming other sentient beings.

4. A Strong and forceful puji fire are performed against harmful forces. In Tibet rituals these were used

to dispel or subdue local disturbances,

All rituals no matter what system or tradition they come from involve keeping yourself centered and

grounded at all times. I have found that Qi Gong exercises are number one in keeping you grounded

centered and focused. That’s why I encourage all of my students who are interested in spiritual work,

marshal arts or healing to learn and practice internal exercises, like the ones offered in

Rebecca Ayre, the president of Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT), invited me to be a guest speaker at this year’s conference. I was more than happy to share all I could with the group.

The topics covered all the current trends in Integrative Cancer Care. It was designed to empower people with practical knowledge that will directly benefit those facing a diagnosis of cancer and patients who are looking for options and choices in creating their recovery from cancer. The conference was a unique opportunity to learn of the best therapies, techniques and approaches that Integrative Cancer Care has to offer.

I really got a ton of info to help my patients.

Their group was much more in alignment to my way of thinking.

When I treat a patient no matter whether they are looking for anti-aging treatments, recovering from a disease like cancer or any degenerative disease, I always work to balance the internal terrain.

If you had a garden in your backyard and the soil was very acid and had very little vitamins or minerals (clay and sand) in it, you wouldn’t expect to get much of a harvest. You could still grow something, but the plants would grow poorly and as far as getting any healthy fruits or vegetables your chances would be slim.

On the other hand, if your garden soil was alkaline had proper vitamins, minerals, air and water- your chances of getting a Bumper Harvest would be great. I have been growing organic gardens for years.

The key is the soil.

Of course it needs air, water, and sun light, but in poor soil it gets bugs, weeds and small unhealthy plants.

It’s the same in our body, if you eat junk food, don’t get clean air and water we will have a poor internal terrain and your health will reflect it.

Balance the terrain and the body will go towards health.

I was asked to share my knowledge of Energy medicine, Medical Qi Gong and Chinese Taoist internal exercises at this year’s conference as well as the importance of a proper internal terrain.

The doctors who attended were the top physicians, naturopaths, chiropractors and members of the general public, who gathered to share the best that Integrative Cancer Care has to offer.

They put together a truly memorable conference, and I look forward to participating as this community strengthens and grows.

Thank you all it was a great honor and privilege to share my knowledge with you.

I Wish you the Best in your Health , Wealth and happiness

Dr. Wu Dhi was born Sherwood Swartz but mostly known as ‘Woody’ to friends and family. As a student of various traditions he as received various names and titles over the years as is appropriate in those schools. Among these names was Wu Di, very similar to the pronunciation of Woody, in China the name means ‘has no enemies’. Wu Di was later renamed by a Tibetan Lama to Wu Dhi with an ‘h’. Although this may not seem like that much of a change from Wu Di or even Woody for that matter, it is in fact a high honor to receive such a name directly from a Lama. Dhi in this case is the Sanskrit seed syllable ‘Dhi’ and associated with the great wisdom holder Manjurshri. Dr. Wu Dhi has been a pioneer in alternative health care for over 30 years and a master of Medical Qi Gong. Dr. Wu Dhi completed his advance studies in neurology under the direction of Professor Sun at the prestigious Heilongjiang, University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Harbin P.R.China.

Jerold wrote and asked me to explain to him what he can
expect from doing Qi Gong and internal exercises.
He said he did a weekend workshop and thought it was all some
Big Hype.
He said he felt that the instructor was more filled with himself and had no real Qi.

Jerold, some Qi Gong masters and teachers have the real goods and others have a good
intensions.
I don’t judge them but it takes more than a weekend to get the goods.

“Keep on Practicing”

There two keys

1. The teaching

2. Is the practice

If you don’t do both, It ’s like a bird who only has one wing. It doesn’t fly half the distance, he will just flop along the ground. You need both wings to fly.

I have been practicing for more than 30 years.
When I first learned Qi Gong, most of my friends and fellow students never really took
notice of of the practice.
The hard core Martial Arts people thought it was BS.

They looked at me like I was crazy – practicing so many hours a day and not showing any
outwardly visible skills.

Were they wrong.

I have no health problems, I look at least 10 to 15 years younger than my peers and I take no medicine.

Why? The key is the practice.

Every time I run into an old Martial arts person all they talk about is how much pain
they are in, their knee injuries, shoulder injuries and how beat up their hands
and feet are from breaking boards and bricks.

They really didn’t really get what internal exercises would have given them.
Twelve important benifits for your health and longivity that you can acheive by practicing
The Recharging Qi Gong exercises.

1. Helps dissolve stress naturally

2. Calms high blood pressure without drugs as it balances cardiovascular system.
Also it will normalized blood pressure, and lower bad cholesterol levels.

3. Promotes health and longevity. Your vital capacity, hormone levels, kidney function,
mental acuity, vision and hearing, skin elasticity, bone density, immune function,
digestion, and libido will perk up.

4. It releives chronic pain, people report significant pain reduction from all causes, including injury,
surgery, arthritis, fibromyalgia.

5. Improved flexibility, strength, musculoskeletal development, great posture,
balance, and stamina.

6. Slimming effect on body and spinal toning

7. Promotes relaxing as it calms the body and mind

8. Clears out mental troubles as it balances the mind

9. Encourage a better respiratory rate, improves gaseous exchange, significant benefits
for asthma & bronchitis

10. Circulation improves, micro-circulation, prevents vascular spasms, very helpful for
angina, migraine, and Reynaud’s Syndrome (cold hands & feet)

11. Builds a strong Immune System, with a significant
anti-cancer effect

12. Brain improves cerebral blood flow, less incidence of stroke; reduction in frequency
and intensity of seizure disorders; slow, high amplitude brainwaves suggest relaxed
and integrated state of consciousness.
These are just a few of the health benefits, if you build in the habit of regular practice.
There are also many major benefits in energy, meditation practices and the Payback

where there is no Blockage, there is no pain.”
I read this statement in Kung Fu Magazine a
few months ago and it really stuck with me.

That’s not a concept that they entertain in
Western Medicine. People in general can’t deal
with pain.
They are always trying to run from it, kill it,
or numb out, just to avoid pain.

I hear it all- “Doctor: my back hurts, my stiff neck
is killing me, and I’ve had these pounding head aches
for weeks.” I have heard that some of the standard
treatments are worse than the actual disease itself.

As a doctor of Chinese medicine, I am forever opening up
the blockages in Qi flow and this relives pain in a flash.
No blockage, No pain. It’s as simple as that.
If the Qi is not flowing; it’s stagnant or disrupted in
some way. It can be from a trauma, spiritual, mental,
or emotional imbalances.

Here’s the scoop: we have a meridian system that travels
through our whole body. It’s like a sea of energy or a large
river of energy flowing in and out, around every organ.
If the Meridians are open our health is great,
but if there is a blockage the next thing we know-
there is some kind of dis-ease.
The acupuncture, herbs, and massage help to open up those
blocks that effect our balance.
But most of us can’t get a treatment everyday because of time,
costs etc.
So what can you do to keep your self in tip top shape,
release the blocked energy and stay balanced?

I’ve got the answer;
“The Recharging Qi Gong Program”. www.Rechargingqigong.com
I now have more than 700 patients and students doing this
increasable program daily with 100% satisfaction.
They have cut their pain down to size or completely
eliminated it.

I receive letters all the time from students and patients
telling me how their energy has increased and that
they are more flexible than they have ever been with no pain.
They now feel great in their own skin again.

How does it work?

The program opens up the blocked and stuck energy in your
physical, mental and spiritual bodies.
“Where there is no Blockage, there is no pain”.

If you start now you can improve your health way beyond your
own expectations and feel GREAT!
www.Rechargingqigong.com

I wish you the Best in your Health, Wealth and Happiness

My cousin Sheldon was in town a few weeks ago.
We always stay in touch by phone, but I haven’t
seen him in years.
Sheldon 6 years my senior and my memories of him
are of a big strong guy. When I was a kid he rode
a huge Harley, he was in the gym all the time, boxed
andhe could kick your butt if he needed too.
The last time I saw him I was in California
many years ago he was quite muscular,
but this time he was walking with a cane
and in pain.

He had an operation 2 years ago and was still
experiencing the pain. The operation was a success,
according to the doctor and in all the testing he
was perfect.
His doctor said that there shouldn’t be any pain
but if there was, it’s just one of those things
and he’d just have to live with it.

Shel was having muscle memory of the trauma
and operation and he was somewhat stuck with
the pain still in his body and mind.

I convinced him to come into the office and with
only few treatments he left pain free.

Yes, no pain.

He couldn’t believe it. He had no idea that with a
few simple treatments he could be free of a two
year nightmare.
This is a common experience of many of my patients.
When the memory of pain gets locked in to the mind
and muscle, even if the body heals there is still
a nagging pain.
It was somewhat of a miracle to him to be
pain free.
This happens often as long as the patient is
willing to step outside the box and let go of
their per-conceived ideas around health
and healing.
When he left Miami he was walking on his own
without that walking stick and
HE LOOKED and FELT TEN YEARS YOUNGER.

I was pleasantly surprised this week when I
received a large box with one of his paintings
in it as a thank you.

It’s called “Center Ring”.
It’s now is a permanent part of Dr. Wu’s
growing art collection.

As I reflected on it and what Center-ring
or Centering meant to me. I ask myself what
is it to be centered or to keep ones center.
Is being centered more of a physical state
concerning center of gravity, natural posture
and movement or is it just a state of mind?

We are always trying to maintain homeo stasis or
balance.
I believe that being centered is to live in the
immediate and ever changing balance of all systems,
centering is a technique
to help you ‘stay in the present’ and discard
negative or distracting thoughts.

To keep myself centered I have built in a discipline
that works. Every morning I get up before day break to
begin my training.
I do the Recharging Qi Gong exercises and then move
into the Crain style Qi Gong set.

The Key is the regular time and consistence.
The body loves routine, doing the same thing
at the same time day in and day out.
Start practicing daily build in the habit and
join me in staying healthy.

21 degrees in Florida this morning and that’s
a record breaker. Miami Beach is warmer 29 but with that breeze coming off the ocean its dam cool at my house.

Never the less I was up early walked down to
the beach and did my TRAINING AS USUAL.
The Recharging Qi Gong exercises increases power,
warms the kidneys and gives you more sexual strength
and if one gets all that, who wouldn’t want to train.
www.rechargingqigong.com

“He who fails to train, Trains to fail”.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the kidneys
are responsible for our growth, development, reproduction,
bone marrow production, temperature regulation, the
function of brain and spinal cord, controls the strength
of bones, and fluid metabolism. If your kidneys are deficient
you could have signs and symptoms which will include:

Exhaustion, feeling cold all the time, swollen face,
swollen extremities, memory loss, hair loss, hearing
problems, decreased sexual drive, brittle bones,
teeth problems, sore back and knees, frequent pale
urination, incontinence, high blood pressure, low
sperm count, infertility, hypothyroidism, asthma,
impotence, difficult bowel movements.
You can see why the kidneys are so important to keep strong.
One of the keys to longevity is to keep the kidneys strong.

I have been telling you about Shou Wu Chih in my blog.
You know the Chinese tonic to keep your kidneys warm.

(Look at November 19th, 2009
“Keeping the Kidneys warm all winter”
www.Drwudhi.com

I have been drink it since late fall to prepare my system
for the cold and keep my energy at its best.

A few days ago when I heard that the artic freeze was
coming my way, I got all the goodies ready to make a
tonifying ginseng chicken soup.
Here is the formula,Enjoy!

Ingredients
1 small black chicken
(you can find a black chicken at the
Chinese grocery store)
5 slices of ginger about the size of a quarter
and ¼ of an inch thick
3 or 4 Tsp. Shou Wu Chih
10 Chinese red dates
1 pieces of dried ginger
2 or 3 pieces of garlic
½ package of the thin ginseng root
(they look like thick twigs and come
with a string around them)

Seasonings:
2 tsp sea salt
5 tbsp rice wine
A splash of sesame seed oil

Directions:
1. Wash and clean the black chicken
( I soak the chicken in salt water
for a few hours to pull out toxins)
2. Peel the ginger and garlic
3. Rinse the ginseng root, and red dates
4. Place the black chicken in a large pot
and add the ginseng root, Shou Wu Chih,
red dates, ginger and garlic.
Add enough water to cover the ingredients.
5. Bring the pot of water to a hardy boil.
6. Lower to low heat and simmer the soup for
about 2 hours
7. Remove from heat and add the seasonings before serving

Today I had 3 bowels already and I’ll have another one
for dinner. Yum!

My entire body is warm. I Train Hard and I am Chocked
full of energy.

Keep training Hard!

exciting according to my friend, Ray Merriman,
he’s well-versed in the language of both market
analysis and astrology.
In his 2010 book “Forecast” he says.
“2010 it’s like a portal opened into a new reality.
Both consciousness and perception are altered from
anything known before. It is as if a new paradigm
is being created continuously, but never quite
manifested entirely. Many of the rules of
the past for the phenomenal world no longer work
and the rules that will work have yet to be
established.
It is unlike anything experienced before, and therefore
the first and most primal emotions are likely to be
confusion and disorientation, followed by fear and
then if lucky,faith and acceptance.”

That’s quite a mouth full Ray. It sounds like there’s
going to be a lot of changelings and a lot of new
Opportunities
for those of us who are centered and willing to bend
like the bamboo or willow swaying in the wind.

“Notice that the stiffest tree is most easily cracked,
while the Bamboo or willow survives by bending with
the wind.”
- Bruce Lee

Flexibility and opening up to new possibilities will
Definitely be what is needed.

I have some real gems to teach all of you this year.
Practice and training is the key to make us strong
like the Bamboo.

“Knowledge = Wisdom”.

This year in early February I am going to release
a new teaching. “Crain Style Qi Gong”.
I have been practicing and teaching this form for
30 some years. There will be classes,DVD’s
meditations and strength building exercises
as well as internal work to increase longevity.
I’ll include the erotic teachings as well
of the Buddhist and Taoist healing and
meditation Systems.

Thanks for being a part of
Recharging Qi Gong programs,workshops
and classes.
May great things come your way in 2010!!!!
