<p>Yesterday I went to a new restaurant<br />
that one of my friends suggested.<br />
They said the food was really awesome!<br />
When I walked into the place it looked a<br />
little sabby to me so the first thing I did was<br />
head to the restroom to wash my hands.<br />
A man was walking out of the restroom just then.<br />
No big deal, except I got a whiff of<br />
what he was cooking.</p>
<p>Not pleasant.</p>
<p>It brought all sorts of ideas about<br />
germs, disease and flu to mind.</p>
<p>My natural instinct was to get out of there;<br />
I knew this was not the place for me.</p>
<p>My friend said I was just being negative and<br />
I should have just burned through the<br />
negativity and stayed. </p>
<p>What to do in the face of negativity?</p>
<p>Ignore it or do something about it?</p>
<p>The answer: Both.</p>
<p>You focus on what you want<br />
instead of what you don&#8217;t<br />
want &#8211; and then you take immediate<br />
 action to get what<br />
you do want.</p>
<p>A restaurant is a good place to start.<br />
So you picture it then go into your mind’s<br />
 eye and rearrange it the way you want it.</p>
<p>The same goes with any area of your life.<br />
You close your<br />
mind to the images and pictures of<br />
negativity &#8211; you do<br />
what is necessary to stop the<br />
damage &#8211; and while doing<br />
you open your mind to images of what you do want. </p>
<p>This formula works in good<br />
times as well as bad. It<br />
Works when you want to be in a<br />
new career &#8211; and it<br />
Works when you want to earn more money.</p>
<p>When your mind is open to possibilities,<br />
you have freedom<br />

<p>I am really excited about what is<br />
going to happen in the first week of April!<br />
Mercury goes direct April 2nd. This is the<br />
time when everything will get rolling again and<br />
I have been working hard to put things in order<br />

poor Scottish farmer. One day, while<br />
working in his field, he heard a cry for<br />
help coming from a nearby bog.<br />
He dropped his shovel and ran<br />
to the marshland.</p>
<p>There, stuck in black muck, was a<br />
terrified boy, screaming and<br />
struggling to free himself.<br />
Farmer Fleming saved the lad<br />
from what could have been a<br />
slow and terrifying death.</p>
<p>The next day, an elegant carriage pulled<br />
up to the Scotsman&#8217;s home. A smartly<br />
dressed nobleman stepped out and<br />
introduced himself as the father of<br />
the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.</p>
<p>&#8216;I want to repay you,&#8217; said the nobleman.<br />
&#8216;You saved my son&#8217;s life.&#8217;</p>
<p>&#8216;No, I can&#8217;t accept payment for what I did,&#8217;<br />
the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer.<br />
At that moment, the farmer&#8217;s own son came to<br />
the door of the family humble home.</p>
<p>&#8216;Is that your son?&#8217; the nobleman asked.<br />
&#8216;Yes,&#8217; the farmer replied proudly.<br />
&#8216;I&#8217;ll make you an agreement. Let me provide<br />
him with the level of education my own son<br />
will enjoy.<br />
 If your son is anything like you, he&#8217;ll no doubt<br />
grow to be a man we both will be proud of.&#8217;<br />
And that he did.</p>
<p>Farmer Fleming&#8217;s son attended the very best<br />
universities and in time, graduated from<br />
Medical School, and went on to become<br />
known throughout the world as the noted<br />
Sir Alexander Fleming,<br />
the discoverer of Penicillin.</p>
<p>Years afterward, the same nobleman&#8217;s<br />
son who was saved from the bog was stricken<br />
with pneumonia.<br />
What saved his life this time? Penicillin.<br />
The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill .<br />
His son&#8217;s name? Sir Winston Churchill.&#8221;</p>

I met a girl and I fell head-over-<br />
heals for her. At that time she was<br />
just 15 and I couldn’t wait to take<br />
her out on a date. So I borrowed my<br />
Dads car and headed over to see<br />
her and meet the parents. I guess<br />
it was no surprise when her mother<br />
said she wasn’t going anywhere with a<br />
teenager with a car and raging hormones.<br />
I was disappointed but there was no way<br />
I was giving up.</p>
<p>It turned out that her mother was a Yoga<br />
instructor and taught classes every week.<br />
Although I didn’t have a clue what yoga<br />
was at that time, I went to her classes and<br />
said I loved it and wanted to come to more<br />
classes. It was great! I sat as close to my<br />
sweetie as I could possibility get and rolled,<br />
stretched, bent over and laid with my eyes<br />
closed and my heart beating for the entire class.<br />
After I became a regular Yogie fan her<br />
mother trusted us to go out and pick up<br />
some dessert and bring it back to the family.<br />
At last we had an hour alone.<br />
I drove to the<br />
restaurant as fast as I could go, pick up<br />
the order, park in a dark street and make<br />
out for ½ hour and drive back to her<br />
parents’ house as quick as possible.<br />
That was it! I was hooked on Yoga and<br />
never missed a class.  In fact I often<br />
stopped over to ask her mother questions<br />
about the practices and got to spend some<br />
more time with my sweetie. </p>
<p>My entire body mind and spirit was focused<br />
on being at their house and the yoga was<br />
the key to unlocking what I wanted.<br />
Doing a practice has rewards way beyond<br />
our imagination. When I was a youngen it<br />
didn’t matter what the motivation was.<br />
I had a goal and nothing was going to<br />
stand in my way.   </p>
<p>That was a long time ago but the lesson<br />
learned still applies today. If you want<br />
something no matter how impossible it<br />
may seem, if you are motivated in body,<br />
mind and spirit- YOU WILL GET IT!<br />
Over the last 40 or 50 years I have studied<br />
many aspects of health, both Eastern and Western.<br />
They include internal and external exercises,<br />
many systems of yoga, meditation, Qi Gong,<br />
Shen Gong and Nei Gong and many longevity<br />
practices you may not be aware of that are<br />
still practiced in Europe today.<br />
These practices involve living life in a<br />
responsible way and living life to its fullest<br />
but integrating the reality of the world you<br />
live in by taking a mindful look around you.<br />
In Buddhism they have a formula to live life<br />
to it’s fullest, it’s called:</p>
<p>The Noble Eightfold Path<br />
1. Right View<br />
2. Right Intention<br />
3. Right Speech<br />
4. Right Action<br />
5. Right Livelihood<br />
6. Right Effort<br />
7. Right Mindfulness<br />
8. Right Concentration     </p>
<p>It is a practical guideline to ethical and<br />
mental development with the goal of freeing<br />
the individual from attachments and<br />
delusions; and it finally leads to<br />
understanding the truth about all things.<br />
Great emphasis is put on the practical aspect,<br />
because it is only through practice that one<br />
can attain a higher level of being and<br />
reach Enlightenment.</p>
<p>1. Right View<br />
To see and to understand things as they<br />
really are.  Right view is the intellectual aspect<br />
of wisdom. It means to see things through,<br />
to grasp the impermanent and imperfect<br />
nature of worldly objects and ideas, and to<br />
understand the law of karma.</p>
<p>2. Right Intention<br />
The mental energy that controls our actions,<br />
it can be described best as commitment to<br />
ethical and mental self-improvement.</p>
<p>3. Right Speech<br />
Proper conduct is viewed as a guideline to<br />
proper control of your life.  The importance<br />
of speech is obvious: words can break or<br />
save lives, make enemies or friends,<br />
start war or create peace.</p>
<p> 4. Right Action<br />
Healthy actions lead to sound states of mind.<br />
Again, the principle is explained in terms of<br />
abstinence: right action means</p>
<p>A.  To abstain from harming any living being,<br />
especially to abstain from taking life<br />
(including suicide) and doing harm<br />
intentionally or delinquently.</p>
<p>B.   To abstain from taking what is not given,<br />
which includes stealing, robbery, fraud,<br />
deceitfulness, and dishonesty.</p>
<p>C.  To abstain from sexual misconduct.<br />
Positively formulated, right action means<br />
to act kindly and compassionately, to be<br />
honest, to respect the belongings of others,<br />
and to keep sexual relationships harmless to others.</p>
<p>5. Right Livelihood<br />
Right livelihood means that one should<br />
earn one&#8217;s living in a righteous way and<br />
that wealth should be gained legally and peacefully.</p>
<p>6. Right Effort<br />
Without effort, which is in itself an act of<br />
will, nothing can be achieved. Mental<br />
energy is the force behind right effort.<br />
The same type of energy that fuels desire,<br />

He was brought up with loving parents,<br />
went to good schools, always had a job,<br />
a nice home and yet he suffered every<br />
day from lack of ‘something.’<br />
Like so many of us these days when the<br />
world is in turmoil, we feel out of sorts<br />
for no apparent reason. It’s not really<br />
depression, sadness or melancholia.<br />
It’s more like a feeling of emptiness or<br />
maybe feeling some sort of limitations.<br />
I explained to Larry that all of the<br />
limitations we have are our own. We block ourselves from<br />
being successful, healthy and happy and blame<br />
others for our misfortune. That’s when he started to sob,<br />
saying that others seemed to always block his success,<br />
how he never really got a chance, how others beat him out<br />
of jobs, money and opportunities. He was really suffering.<br />
My Master told me long ago that pain is mandatory,<br />
but suffering was optional. If you hit your thumb with a<br />
hammer it is painful, but if you are still complaining about<br />
it years later- that’s suffering.<br />
Causes of human suffering from the<br />
Buddhist perspectives are like immense traps<br />
known as The Three Poisons.<br />
They are Worry, Struggle and Blame.</p>

<p>By the weekend, the heat wave<br />
is expected to cover half of the<br />
United States and affect nearly<br />
150 million people.</p>
<p>&#8216;DANGEROUS HEALTH RISK&#8217;</p>
<p>The low pressure system that<br />
barreled east was expected to bring<br />
powerful thunderstorms with hail<br />
to northeastern states.</p>
<p>&#8220;Do not take this threat lightly,&#8221;<br />
the National Weather Service<br />
warned. </p>
<p>The extreme temperatures<br />
are particularly dangerous.<br />
When it gets that hot it&#8217;s really<br />
important to stay hydrated, we<br />
all know the importance of drinking<br />
water, but there are some other<br />
important things to know to keep<br />
us from de-hydrating.<br />
Drinks like alcohol,<br />
soda,other high sugar drinks,<br />
and even coffee will dry you out.</p>
<p>Pure H2O is the safest to drink<br />
and water with electrolytes will<br />
keep you cool and<br />
well hydrated.</p>
<p>Eat fruit&#8211; this will also<br />
help to cool your<br />
body off, my favorites are:<br />
-plums<br />
-peaches<br />
-grapes<br />
-pears<br />
-watermelon </p>
<p>Here are a few of my formulas<br />
for cooling yourself down<br />
when it&#8217;s this hot. </p>
<p>Buy an organic pineapple;<br />
it’s really important that the<br />
pineapple is organic. Pineapples<br />
are so sweet and bugs love them<br />
as much as we do, so they spray<br />
them with poisoned chemicals,<br />
lots and lots of sprays! When I<br />
lived in Hawaii, you would see<br />
them spray them all the time. My<br />
friend Gail used to go down to the<br />
tide pools that were below<br />
the pineapple fields to soak every day.<br />
Although the fields were a hundred<br />
feet above little did she know that<br />
all that poison was leaching down from<br />
the pineapple field into the pools.<br />
Before she knew it she was sick<br />
from toxic poisons. She is still<br />
beautiful on the outside, but her<br />
internal organs are all suffering.  </p>
<p>So make sure you get an Organic Pineapple.<br />
cut off the outside skin and instead of<br />
throwing it in the basket, wash it well<br />
and then put it in water and boil it for<br />
about ahalf an hour.<br />
Then you strain it and<br />
pour off the juice and put in the<br />
refrigerator.<br />
It&#8217;s a very cooling drink for the summer,<br />
needs no sweetener and will keep you<br />
hydrated and cool.  </p>
<p>Another one of my special cooling summer<br />
formulas I learned from Dr. Fu Dhi he&#8217;s<br />
from Harbin China. Although Harbin<br />
is one of the coldest places in China in<br />
the winter,the summers are hot and<br />
humid and when I went to school,<br />
there was no air-conditioner.  </p>
<p>This recipe is most likely thousands of<br />
years old.<br />
We all like ice cold watermelon, the<br />
sweet red meat is cooling and<br />
refreshing and people all over the<br />
planet eat it, drink the juice and<br />
you may think that’s the trick.<br />
But wait there is more to the watermelon<br />
than you would ever think.  </p>
<p>The rind is rich in silicon and its<br />
outer green skin is concentrated<br />
in chlorophyll.<br />
Rind can be used to keep you<br />
cool as well.<br />
You can  take the watermelon rind<br />
which is the white part, cut it up<br />
into about one inch squares, add a<br />
little salt and put it in the refrigerator<br />
to cool for an hour or so.<br />
Once it’s chilled,<br />
you can add it to either vegetable<br />
or fruit salads. </p>
<p>Also watermelon<br />
rind can be juiced and drunk 1 or<br />
2 oz. of the juice 2 to 3 times a day-<br />
it will also lower your blood pressure,<br />
but if you have a heart condition<br />
leave out the salt. </p>
<p>Stay hydrated can also keep you<br />
Young.<br />
When I&#8217;m doing my Qi Gong practice<br />
this time of year,<br />
I focus on the kidneys and the spleen.<br />
That’s the water and earth elements. </p>

<p>All day Saturday I was with a group<br />
of 50 doctors at an exciting seminar<br />
on nutrition. You may be asking<br />
yourself, what’s so exciting<br />
about nutrition anyway?</p>
<p>Food is our medicine or it should be,<br />
but in today’s world there is so much<br />
pollution in our water, soil and air that<br />
we can no longer get the proper nutrition<br />
from the food we eat.  We need to<br />
supplement our diets to stay in shape<br />
and to have the energy we need to run<br />
our lives as healthy and stress free as we can.</p>
<p>The type of food and the quality of your food<br />
makes all the difference in our health and our<br />
chances of longevity. Our food isn’t nearly<br />
as clean as it was 30 to 50 years ago. </p>
<p>My mother who is 91 years old said,<br />
“There was no such thing as organic<br />
food when I was growing up, because<br />
it was all organic.”<br />
 No, GMO&#8217;s, No poison sprays and<br />
the fertilizers were all from the<br />
compose pile, a real recycling system.<br />
She went on to say,<br />
“Your grandmother always had a garden<br />
because food was expensive and that’s<br />

plant a garden and my children<br />
always have one too.<br />

<p>Many years ago my master<br />
warned me to keep my eyes<br />
open and my mouth shut.</p>
<p>He would say, “Guarding your<br />
speech is as important as guarding your life.<br />
What ever you say, when you say it and who<br />
you say it to can get you killed, or save your life.”</p>
<p>I remember I was a blabbermouth<br />
and my teacher gave me an assignment to<br />
control my speech and break me out of<br />
a habit for over talking.</p>
<p>At first it seemed like an easy exercise to me.<br />
I thought I could do it for the assigned time of<br />
12 hours without any problem, but it was<br />
more difficult than I imagined.<br />
Before I really made a commitment<br />
to train myself, my mind was jumping<br />
from one thought to the next, like a monkey<br />
jumping from branch to branch chattering as<br />
I went from one subject to the next.</p>
<p>Here is the exercise the master had me do:<br />
He told me to take a penny, wash it and<br />
put it on my tongue and hold that penny on<br />
the roof of my mouth.</p>
<p>I was told to be sure to take it out of<br />
my mouth to eat and drink.<br />
It&#8217;s a way to train the mind,<br />
to stop the mind from chattering and a<br />
way to guard your speech.</p>
<p>When we talk and talk and talk and talk<br />
we lose a tremendous amount of energy.</p>
<p> The 3 ways we lose the most of our energy is:</p>
<p>1. Through our digestion<br />
- over eating is an energy sucker.</p>
<p>2. Sexual activity<br />
- too much too often can zap you and age you prematurely.</p>
<p>3. Over talking, your speech, and what you say<br />
- Guarding your speech is most important of the three.</p>
<p>When we are trying to make changes in our lives,<br />
no matter if it’s mentally, physically, emotionally<br />
or spiritually, we will run into some resistance.<br />
Our bodies are like robots and we like doing the<br />
same things over and over. It makes no difference<br />
if those habits are good or not, the body / mind likes<br />
doing what it does.</p>
<p>Now, how can we make those positive changes<br />
that we all want in our Health, Wealth and Happiness?<br />
There is a way and it really works.</p>
<p>1st is Education and 2nd is Training.</p>
<p>With the right instructions and the correct<br />
Practice, you can change just about anything<br />
and be in control of most situations in your life.<br />
The easiest way to get permanent change<br />
is to change the body first.<br />
That’s where the commitment comes in.<br />
If you want to change, you need to do something<br />
to make those changes.</p>
<p>Body first, then mind and spirit.</p>
<p>The combination of the three will<br />
make and hold the permanent changes in your life.</p>
<p>I have found that Qi Gong Practices include all three.<br />
It trains the physical to be more flexible and supple,<br />
it opens up the flow of energy in the meridians and<br />
quiets the mind.   </p>
<p>When I was first introduced to Qi Gong, it blew my socks off.<br />
My hand chakras opened, my meditations improved and I<br />
became much more flexible in both body and mind.<br />

<p>First let’s look at what is the biggest<br />
energy sucker.<br />
The thief that steals your energy the most<br />
and leaves you exhausted.</p>
<p>          STRESS!</p>
<p>Stress can cause a multitude of problems like:<br />
Pain of any kind<br />
Heart disease<br />
Digestive problems<br />
Sleep problems<br />
Depression<br />
Obesity<br />
Auto immune diseases<br />
Skin conditions, such as eczema</p>
<p>Stress has dramatic effects on energy<br />
and can turn your world upside down.<br />
The medical treatment people always suggest<br />
is that you reduce your stress as much as possible,<br />
an easy statement to make but harder to deliver<br />
unless you have the proper education and training.</p>
<p>Here are 6 formulas to transform<br />
stress into personal<br />
power,regain and rebuild your Energy.</p>
<p>1.Start by identifying the things that stress you<br />
out; this is the first step towards eliminating<br />
them.</p>
<p>Make a list to start changing and eliminating<br />
these energy suckers.</p>
<p>*What re-occurring things stress you out?<br />
*Which people and what activities<br />
cause stress in your life?<br />
*What foods seem to give you more stress?</p>
<p>See which of them can be eliminated,<br />
changed or do less of them.<br />
Make a plan on what you will do daily in order<br />
to keep yourself fit, mentally, physically,<br />
and spiritually and follow it.<br />

<p>2.Choose Energy Producing Foods<br />
If you just got a new Lamborghini Reventon Roadster,<br />
you would not put the cheapest gas in it,<br />
would you? You’d put in the best you could find.</p>
<p>Your body is the same so don’t fill it up on<br />
cheap food.<br />
I haven’t been into a fast food restaurant<br />
in 25 years and all my parts still run like<br />
a fine tuned machine.<br />
If you treat your body as a temple<br />
by keeping it clean and offer it only the best<br />
foods,it will work years with no break downs<br />
and will have incredible power.</p>
<p>But as the saying goes, “if you put Junk<br />
in you will only get Junk out!”<br />
It’s important to pay attention<br />
to the timing of when you eat, and what you eat.<br />
This is a major factor in your energy levels.</p>
<p>Never skip breakfast! Your body needs good<br />
clean fuel to run properly.</p>
<p>I eat as soon as I finish my morning workout.<br />
I usually drink a protein drink in the morning<br />
to get going if I don’t have time to sit down<br />
and have a meal.<br />
It has 18 grams of protein in it and<br />
all the amino acids. I’ll just add 1 scoop of<br />
“Greens First” to the mix to get all my<br />
fruits and veggies.<br />
Sugar filled cereals are not fuel;<br />
they burn too quickly and leave you flat in<br />
no time. Poached eggs are a good choice because<br />
they are low in fat, high in protein and<br />
will keep your energy up.<br />
Our bodies thrive on variety, so mix it up<br />
fruit one day, eggs the next and power protein<br />
drink a few days a week.<br />
Skip the high fat desserts after dinner&#8211;<br />
this will drain your energy and make you fat.</p>
<p>3. Exercise regularly,<br />
but make sure you are doing the right exercises.<br />
I find that a Qi Gong workout will<br />
give you much more energy in the<br />
long run than running or heavy<br />
weight lifting. Those exercises can<br />
cause injury too often. If I lift I<br />
do light weights and instead of running,<br />
I’ll do walking and short fast sprints.<br />
Qi Gong will increase your internal power<br />
and charge up your batteries.</p>
<p>That’s why I put together the<br />

<p>4. Shut the Boob tube off!<br />
It’s a giant energy sucker.<br />
If you’re a TV junkie, wake up<br />
because it’s addicting just like hard drugs.<br />
Switch it off by 9 O’ clock because it<br />
will steal your energy for sure!<br />
Also, watch out for your computer as well,<br />
it has energy sucking qualities that can<br />
sneak up on you and drain your juice as well.</p>
<p>These brain drains keep your brain stimulated<br />
late into the evening and will rob you of a restful<br />
sleep and important dream time.<br />
A far more beneficial way to unwind is to read,<br />
listen to classical music and meditate and your<br />
brain will thank you!</p>
<p>If my mind is racing at night, I’ll take<br />
a walk before bed. This will relax you and<br />
increase your energy.</p>
<p>5. Make your bedroom as dark as possible.<br />
The darker your bedroom is the better you will sleep.<br />
Use your bed for sleep and sex that’s it.<br />
If you have other activities you need to do,<br />
do it somewhere else except your sleeping quarters.<br />
These changes will ensure you a<br />
restful sleep and much more productive days.</p>
<p>6. Complete your projects<br />
Every project you have is filled with energy.<br />
The quicker you complete them the more energy<br />
you will get.<br />
They are like little treasure chests but<br />
in order to get the treasure you need to complete<br />
the task. The more tasks you complete the more<br />
energy you will get. But on the other hand if<br />
you have unfinished projects, they drain your<br />
energy until they are finished. So make a list<br />
of all your current projects, what needs to be<br />
done and get going.<br />
As you complete them you see your energy levels<br />
go higher and higher.</p>
<p>Having more energy will change<br />
many aspects of your life and<br />
your thinking. All it takes is the<br />
strong decision to make a change.<br />
You&#8217;ll be glad you made these simple changes;<br />
they will improve the quality of your life<br />
and increase your energy.</p>

<p>Yesterday afternoon I got in the car and headed to Ft. Lauderdale<br />
to say my last goodbyes to my dear friend Gary.<br />
I set the GPS and off I went.</p>
<p>I was driving for about an hour before I found myself<br />
far out into the everglades.<br />
That&#8217;s not what I planed, but that&#8217;s where I ended up.<br />
I guess the GPS had different plans for me. Maybe it was<br />
Gary sending me a message.</p>
<p>I parked my car and went for a long walk with my fallen buddy<br />
on my mind.<br />
It&#8217;s beautiful what a spectacular place the sea of grass is.<br />
I knew it was one of Gary’s favorite places in Florida as we<br />
talked about it often.</p>
<p>As I walked I saw  some big alligators sunning themselves<br />
on the banks, birds were flying over head and fish were jumping.<br />
I was led to a quite place where I could say goodbye to an<br />
old friend that I knew since high school.</p>
<p>Nature is  really a wonderful  place to  commune with<br />
your higher power and open up your soul.<br />
I hung out with my friend in spirit for a few hours.<br />
I was really enjoying myself and I  even shed a few tears<br />
as I looked off into the flowing grass.</p>
<p>Then  I looked up into the blue skies and there<br />
it was giant high voltage towers moving electricity across<br />
the sky and there I was under it.<br />
I high tailed  out of there as quick as I could.<br />
The ceremony of spirt came to a sudden halt.</p>
<p>I made a decision at that point to share more with you on<br />
your health. What to watch out for in the environment that<br />
effects  health.<br />
What foods to avoid, where to go and where not to be.<br />
How to care for your health and the health of your family.</p>
<p>I hope everyone had a blessed weekend, as I did with friends<br />
