After one of my would-be students called me an Obsessive Compulsive,
I looked up Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder (OCD) on Wikipedia.
It defined it as characterized by repetitive behavior.
The symptoms of this anxiety disorder may include repetitive
hand-washing; extensive hoarding; pre-occupation with sexual
or aggressive impulses, or with particular religious beliefs;
aversion to numbers; and somewhat strange habits, such as
opening a door and closing it numerous times before one enters
or leaves a room.
I can remember Ronny doing that all through high school.
We really thought he was eccentric.
“Obsessive–Compulsive” is part of the English lexicon,
and is often used in an informal or caricatured manner
to describe someone who is meticulous or perfectionist.
When I get into something I get into it 110%,
this so-called obsession has gotten a bad rap throughout the years.
When you put yourself wholeheartedly into your work,
your practice or your studies- the magic of creativity happens.
I can remember when I first turned my attention to the study
of Qi Gong and Internal Energy work more than 30 years ago.
I was called compulsive and considered a nut case by
family and friends.

That didn’t stop me for one second.

I took every class I could find. Practiced at least twice a day.
And I read everything I could get my hands on.
I made it a point to go to all the Qi Gong conferences,
flew to China to study with Qi Gong Masters and eventually
took the Masters and Doctoral program in Medical Qi Gong.
To this day, I still study and practice everyday.
Is that obsessive? Perhaps yes, perhaps no but there
is one thing that is for sure:
A productive obsession that you decide to cultivate
should be rooted in love, interest and a desire to
better your life.
There is nothing I wouldn’t do to hold on to my health
and vitality.
That’s why I urge you join me in practicing my program
before it’s too late.
Be obsessive about staying healthy.
Do it now!
For all the health and wealth in the world go to
www.Rechargingqigong.com and see your future life
bursting with strength and vitality.

I wish you the Very best in your Health Wealth and Happiness

Rebecca Ayre, the president of Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT), invited me to be a guest speaker at this year’s conference. I was more than happy to share all I could with the group.

The topics covered all the current trends in Integrative Cancer Care. It was designed to empower people with practical knowledge that will directly benefit those facing a diagnosis of cancer and patients who are looking for options and choices in creating their recovery from cancer. The conference was a unique opportunity to learn of the best therapies, techniques and approaches that Integrative Cancer Care has to offer.

I really got a ton of info to help my patients.

Their group was much more in alignment to my way of thinking.

When I treat a patient no matter whether they are looking for anti-aging treatments, recovering from a disease like cancer or any degenerative disease, I always work to balance the internal terrain.

If you had a garden in your backyard and the soil was very acid and had very little vitamins or minerals (clay and sand) in it, you wouldn’t expect to get much of a harvest. You could still grow something, but the plants would grow poorly and as far as getting any healthy fruits or vegetables your chances would be slim.

On the other hand, if your garden soil was alkaline had proper vitamins, minerals, air and water- your chances of getting a Bumper Harvest would be great. I have been growing organic gardens for years.

The key is the soil.

Of course it needs air, water, and sun light, but in poor soil it gets bugs, weeds and small unhealthy plants.

It’s the same in our body, if you eat junk food, don’t get clean air and water we will have a poor internal terrain and your health will reflect it.

Balance the terrain and the body will go towards health.

I was asked to share my knowledge of Energy medicine, Medical Qi Gong and Chinese Taoist internal exercises at this year’s conference as well as the importance of a proper internal terrain.

The doctors who attended were the top physicians, naturopaths, chiropractors and members of the general public, who gathered to share the best that Integrative Cancer Care has to offer.

They put together a truly memorable conference, and I look forward to participating as this community strengthens and grows.

Thank you all it was a great honor and privilege to share my knowledge with you.

I Wish you the Best in your Health , Wealth and happiness

Dr. Wu Dhi was born Sherwood Swartz but mostly known as ‘Woody’ to friends and family. As a student of various traditions he as received various names and titles over the years as is appropriate in those schools. Among these names was Wu Di, very similar to the pronunciation of Woody, in China the name means ‘has no enemies’. Wu Di was later renamed by a Tibetan Lama to Wu Dhi with an ‘h’. Although this may not seem like that much of a change from Wu Di or even Woody for that matter, it is in fact a high honor to receive such a name directly from a Lama. Dhi in this case is the Sanskrit seed syllable ‘Dhi’ and associated with the great wisdom holder Manjurshri. Dr. Wu Dhi has been a pioneer in alternative health care for over 30 years and a master of Medical Qi Gong. Dr. Wu Dhi completed his advance studies in neurology under the direction of Professor Sun at the prestigious Heilongjiang, University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Harbin P.R.China.
Hatcher Mango season is coming up. Stress, Back pain

Hatcher Mangos

Early Saturday morning around 6:30 , I received a distress call from Mairlynn, the Mango lady.
I usually don’t get a call from her this early in the growing season.
She is the owner of Hatcher Hill Mango Farm. www.hatchermangohill.com.
It’s a small farm about 3+ acres large with more mangoes than I’ve ever seen.
They are all organically grown, not to mention are the biggest and best darn
mangoes I have ever tasted.

I usually visit the 60 year old farm a few times each season to feast on the mangoes.
Those farmers, in general, are really hard workers – picking, packing and shipping
mangoes is a back breaking job.
In fact, that’s how I became friends with the Hatchers.

It was about 14 years ago when I discovered Hatcher Hill Mango farm.
I was driving up to see my parents and I saw the sign, “Organic Mangoes for sale.”
I drove up the dirt road to the farm, when I got the top of the hill,
I couldn’t believe my eyes, there were tables of the largest mangoes I’ve ever seen.
Man this was a real find, “I love mangoes.”

I jumped out of the car and as I was picking out the mangoes that I wanted,
I heard the Mango Lady say. “My back is really sore.” I told her I could fix that and
within seconds,
I was in the farm house in seconds putting acupuncture needles in the mango lady’s
back and doing Medical Qi Gong. We’ve been friends ever since.

But, let’s get back to the distress call.
The Mango Lady called and said she could hardly walk, that’s always bad but just
before the mangoes ripen, it’s a really BIG problem.
She said it all hit the fan at the same time and she needed some help.
I got into the “Chi-mobile” and drove up to the farm in Boynton Beach.

It’s true, STRESS can cause more health problems that lifting heavy boxes
of mangoes all day or any physical work.
So, I had a long chat with the Mango Lady about stress
and what it does to people.

Stress is the # 1 killer in the USA – causing more heart problems, cancers,
mental and emotional problems than anything else.

We went over exercises and relaxation techniques together that are in my
“Turn Stress into Power Program.”
We worked for about half an hour on the meditations and the internal exercises,
to turn those stresses around and use them to her advantage.

Long story short, by the time I left Hatcher Hill, she was feeling 100% better!
So why not turn your personal stress into power too? It’s as easy as one, two – FREE!

Get your personal copy of the “Turn Stress Into Power” book and DVD and
receive two free tickets to the workshop - “completely FREE with purchase”.

People are always passing in and out of our lives.
Like for example, my friend, Gary who I first met back when I was still in High School.
I haven’t seen or heard from him again until a few years ago when we ran into each
other in Miami Beach.
We spent some time together reminiscing and we became close friends again in no time
at all. He came to my Qi gong classes, got acupuncture treatments and in fact,
he really responded well to Chinese medicine.
His achy back pain vanished and the vitamin B shots and homeopathic medicine seemed
to bring him back to good health once again. He claimed he was even getting younger in
body and mind.

Gary always had a dream of leaving his life in Miami Beach, Florida and moving to Acapulco Mexico.
He saw himself exercising every day, eating only raw food and drinking coconut water under a
palm tree on the seashore. He has been talking about it for years and just last week he pulled
up stakes.
He sold all his things and headed out on a long road trip, stopping here and there as he migrated
“South of the Border” to live out his days with “Quetzal coatl and hopefully find a Mayan princess to
lay by his side.

He thanked me a hundred times before he left for all the acupuncture treatments, the
homeopathic remedies, the detox program I insisted he did before he left.
He told me that he was most thankful and indebted to me
for giving him the opportunity to learn the ancient art of Chinese Qi gong.
(Some spell it Chi Gong) but it’s all the same thing.

I reminded him that teaching and healing was my mission and it was my pleasure to be
able to pass along all the internal exercises and ancient knowledge that I accumulated
over the years.I told Gary that if he practiced on a regular basis, he could maintain his
health and longevity for many years and avoid premature aging.

Gary then signed up to be member of the Qi Gong inner circle and bought every DVD on health,
longevity, meditation and internal healing secrets that being a member entitles him to.

Some times, a big move like what Gary had done, can bring up a lot of fear and uncertainty.
Our reptilian brain goes wild when we pull up our roots. We like regularity in our life.

Back in 1984, I made a big move myself. I pulled up my roots and move to Venezuela.
Once there, I started learning from the different shaman healers. It was an incredible time
for me and I’m sure it’s going to also be incredible time for Gary.
The key is to stay open and be flexible in all parts of the adventure.

Here’s what has kept me centered, grounded and happy.

My practice!

Yep that’s it.

Practice, Practice and more Practice!!!

When you build in a regular practice of exercise, meditation and relaxation,
it becomes your teacher, coach and guide for your entire life.

As long as you have your practice, you can be anywhere in the universe,
in any situation and feel right at home. If things change around you, then you are prepared.
Why? And that’s because you are grounded, centered and consistent.

Practice can and will always give us the stability.

The members of the inner circle all report that the practice keeps them healthy,
strong and vibrant in all parts of their life.

Join today and keep on keeping on. www.qigonginnercircle.com
I wish you the best in Health, Wealth and Happiness

It was back in August of 2007. I was doing an acupuncture
and medical Qi gong session on Matt Furey,
he’s a national and world title holder in Kung Fu.
I remember him telling me the importance of connecting
the mind to your muscles.

What he was talking about was “getting inside” your muscles as you train and going beyond mere exercise to give yourself every advantage
possible in your training.

He went on to say.“It has to do with having a set purpose
and a goal in your every move in your practice.
If you’re just going through the moves without a set
purpose you’re not really training”.

This is paramount in practicing Qi Gong.
The inner movement of the Qi as well as the
focused breathing makes all the difference
in practice. You can always tell if a student
has internal power or he is just moving with no
grounding.

I use the same principles when I am working on a
patient, doing a meditation or in internal Qi Gong
practices.

1.

Internal practices need to be trained into the mind

and muscle so the energy can flow un-obstructed.

I still work on Matt every time I see him. I give
him a combination of Acupuncture, Chinese Medical Qi
Gong and Biological medicine to make sure everything
is in good working order and to clear the pathways,
so he can continue to train and teach to the max with
no-obstructions.

If you’ve never had a Medical Qi gong treatment
I’d highly recommend getting one. You can get

Today A student asked me if I knew how to control pain using Qi Gong.
I refered to this blog that I sent out a few years ago.
This is the story I told him.

As a kid growing up in Detroit you learned how to be tough
at an early age, and even if I got in a fight or got hurt
I learned how to control pain. That was something I learned
early.

Dr. Feldman our family dentist taught me from an early age to
GET TOUGH!

You may remember those old dentist offices where that had
those old cable drills, well that’s what he had in his old
creepy office, with those old time cable drills that moved
really, really slowly with loud buzzing drills.
Dr Feldman told my mother, who seemed to believe
everything that he said, that kids didn’t need Novocain
or anything else for pain. He Told Her “Kids don’t really
feel any pain from the drilling”.
So we never got the numbing stuff.
I learned how to move my internal energy in my body to
avoid pain at an early age just to survive those early
days of touchier.
Not exactly the water board technique, but close.

I still use the technique to avoid pain,
to the amazement of my current dentist.

I was working out with a group of students about a
month ago showing some of the advanced techniques of
internal Qi gong and how to strike not at things but
through things.
I got distracted by a question from a senior students
and a newbie cold cocked me on my left side right on my jaw.
Ouch! I didn’t give it much energy and re-channeled the
pain and went on with the instructions.

A few days ago I was feeling some discomfort in my mouth
and went to the dentist to have it checked.
It turned out that I had a broken tooth and it needed to
be pulled.

When I said No Novocain! The dentist and her assistant
turned white. After some discussion and seeing that it
wasn’t going to happen without me agreeing to let them
give me at least a ¼ dose I agreed for their sake I then
went into a deep meditation and before I knew it the
tooth was out.
I did much better than the doctor and her assistant in fact
I giver her call to day to check on her anxiety level after
seeing me. She was fine but still can’t believe that the
processors didn’t bother me.

Over the last 6 decades I have studied and learned many
techniques from the ancient cultures on to move, remove,
divert and avoid pain. On many different levels mentally,
physically, emotionally and locked in spiritual pain.
Some of these systems I have discovered out of necessity
others are drawn from the Taoist systems and Tibetan
systems, as well as Alchemy, Chinese medicine and the
secret teachings of Ayurvedic medicine.

These and other internal Qigong exercises are what
I teach to the Qi Gong Inner Circle members.

This weekend I was at an incredible workshop with
two doctors from Italy.
The topics were on Longevity medicine and
Aesthetic medicine,
basically that’s all about health and beauty.
I found it interesting that they put those two
subjects together.

When I was a Kid my father always said.

“If you don’t have your health you don’t have anything”.
I didn’t have a clue what he was telling me in my
younger years, But I do now!

We discussed specifically on the origin and where
wrinkles come from. People get wrinkles from a multitude of reasons.
In Western medicine, these are some of the major factors:

Ultraviolet sun rays
Tobacco
Inadequate diet
Excess alcohol
Loss of teeth
Improper chewing
Environmental dryness
Absence of cosmetic skin care
Abrupt weight loss
Sleep lines

In Chinese medicine, as we get older,
gravity and heat affects our body.
What it does is it heats up our organs and
eventually starts to atrophy. Think of it
this way; imagine your internal organs as a
beautiful plum.
Once you put it under the sun, it will dry up
like a prune in no time.
The organ itself will deteriorate, decrease in
size and wither away.
When this happens, we can actually see it
externally as wrinkles in our face.

If you want to keep your face from wrinkling
and slow the aging process, you need to detoxify
your body.
Detoxification clears the heat from the organs and
re-hydrates the body.
It will then reflect in our face.

If you want to stay young as long as you can

I drove over to a patient’s house last night to
make a house call. That’s not something I do a lot of,
but Karen twisted her back and couldn’t get out of bed.
Her husband, Martin, called and pleaded with me to go.
When I arrived at the house, Martin was the one
who seemed to be having the problem.
Although Karen was flat on her back,
he was All Shook–Up.
I asked if he was all right and he blurted out almost
in tears.“Who is going to make dinner?
Karen can’t move and I am really hungry.

Doc, you gotta’ fix her.

How are the kids going to get to school in the morning?
This is really an inconvenience for me.” I with held my
personal judgements. As I bit my lip. I said,

“Well Martin,” I answered calmly, “why don’t you let
me take a glimpse at Karen and see what I can do.”

Karen is a 53-year-old house-wife with three kids
and lots of demands on her.
She is the support person in the family and
without her, no one functions very well.

When there is too much stress on any of us we break
down.
Sometimes a cold, stiff neck or, in Karen’s case,
a back-pain or a pain in the butt can knock you for
a loop.
I did some Acupuncture and Medical Qi Gong, adjusted
her spine and found that she just needed rest for a
few days.

I sat down with Martin when I finished and explained
that the best way to have his loving wife back was to
give her some space.Take the kids out to dinner.
Go down to the beach for ½ an hour or so.
Practice some Qi Gong exercises which will help
him and the kids to be more flexible in body
and mind.
Martin said, “Do you mean those exercises that you
were talking about?”

“Yep! Those are the exercises.
I’ll go over with them with you now and you can
visit my website www.rechargingqigong.com and download them for FREE.”

Martin called me this afternoon and thanked me a
thousands times over. He said it was great for him
to spend some quality time with the kids, although
he has been living within a few miles of the beach,
last night was the first time he went to look at
the ocean in years.
He said, “The Exercises helped to open up my
flexibility, or lack of it,in my body and mind.”
I reminded him that every month the members of the
www.Qigonginnercircle.com receive a DVD of
exercises, meditations and ways to keep stress free.
Check it out.

I wish you the Best in Health, Wealth and Happiness

Dr. Wu Dhi

P.S. He said that Karen was getting better.

Yesterday, Greg emailed me back from one of my
blogs and asked, “Dr. Wu, I am curious on how
you came upon Medical Qi Gong?”

So I wrote him back…

It was back in the late seventies and I wasand stamina.
living in Detroit, Michigan. I was training
both in Aikido and Wing Chun Kung Fu. I had
asked my Shifu how I could develop more internal
energy. A few days later, he introduced me to
Dr. Chen Wang, a great energy healer who just
arrived from China.

Dr. Chen’s specialty was moving Qi (energy) in
the body/mind and spirit. He was a Doctor of
Medical Qi Gong for over 20 years at that time.
My teacher insisted that I study with him. And
Dr. Chen kindly agreed to teach me his form of
Qi Gong to build my internal power, strength

I had a ton of questions, but Dr. Chen didn’t
speak a word of English. All of my training was
to follow him and watch his every move. So I
used a technique I had learned from one of my
Masters called mirror and matching. The technique
is to follow every movement that the teacher
does, as well as the breath, facial movements,
and even eat what they ate.

The idea is to get as many of your senses
involved as you can; seeing, hearing, smelling,
tasting and moving. And as you get the muscle
memory congruent with all the senses, you will
be one with the teachings.

Try it! It works great!

When I had put together the Recharging Qi Gong
exercise program, I knew that if people were
really going to make a big change in their life,
they needed to train from the inside out and use
as many of their senses as possible.

The program was to build on these principles;
to allow the student to use sound, visualization,
breath, color and movement and to embody the
teachings as quickly as possible. This form of
teaching involves “Super Learning” techniques,
as well as NLP programming techniques to give
the student the maximum learning experience in
the least amount of time.

Check it out www.rechargingqigong.com

I wish you the Best in Health, Wealth, and Happiness,

I am at the apple computer store at the mall working
on a DVD for the Qi Gong Inner Circle that
I recorded in Switzerland.

The Computer Master that I worked with was really helpful
and in less than an hour I learned things to enhance
the DVD’s that I send out each month.

Like changing the brightness, making the colors brighter
and smoothing out all the transitions from
one cut to the next.
They are real Masters when it comes to computers,
soft ware and how to get the best out of your project.

The coaching saved me hours and hours of time and
my projects are the quality is much better.

I know that I could have done all this myself
without a coach. Trail and error method, but working
with a Master really changes everything.

It’s the same with any thing you study. You can over
and over reinvent the wheel but there is no need.

A master once told me this.” If you want progress
the quickest and not get lost on the path you
need a teacher or a coach.

I have been blessed over the years to have had
many different Masters come into my life
and coached me in Tibetan, Taoist and Hindu traditions
on spiritual work. I had coaches in energy work,
structural alignment, and body work,
Qi Gong, Nei Gong, Shen Gong and Medical Qi Gong.

Do you think I will ever stop learning or stop
getting coached?

I always seek out the best. I learn and then
teach others. That’s what the Qi Gong Inner Circle
is about, Passing on the Teachings.

Some teachers get info and it stops there,
they hold on to it and think that they will
keep it a secret and keep it for their own self-growth.

Well it doesn’t work like that. When you stop
the flow it drys up and is gone forever.
When I was studying in Harbin China very few
of the professors would show me anything about Qi Gong.
They said it was a family secret or worse they would
try to lead me astray by giving me false information.
That will never happen if you are a member of the
Qi Gong Inner Circle. You’ll get the real goods
from my years of actual practice and training
from the many Masters and teachers that
I have had the opportunity to study with.

If you’re ready for the real deal go to www.Qigonginnercircle.com
