My interview with the man in red

Last night I was awakened to a loud thump.
I shot out of bed, grabbed my trusty Louisville Slugger and
crept to the front room where I could sense someone moving in
the dark.

He must have heard me because he turned to face me. I had my
bat raised high but he said “listen son, I don’t have time to
play ball but if you could pour me a cup of tea I’d be happy to
take a quick break and chat for a while.”

Dressed in all red with a long white beard, there he was, the
man himself. I couldn’t believe my eyes, I said “you’re…” but
before I could finish he cut me off.

“Please call me Nick” he said with a smile on his face.
I went to the kitchen, put on the kettle, and made a pot of my
best Chinese Green Tea.

“I have so many questions” I began to ramble as I poured the
tea.

“You look much younger than your pictures, how old are you
really?”
“How do you stay so fit?”
“How do you keep warm and never get sick?”
“How do you get all this work done in one night?”
“You’re balance must be great to work on roofs all the time,
how do you do it?”
“You’re thinner than I expected, how’s misses Nick?”

The old man started by laughing “Ho Ho Ho – you and I are not
so different, once long ago I too wanted the answers to all
these questions.”

He then began to tell me all his secrets. He told me the most
important thing was to keep smiling and laughing. He told me
about the secret sound “Ho” and how it kept his heart healthy,
the great Qi Gong masters use this sound too!

He told me he never drinks coffee, too hard on the kidneys and
adrenals. He uses Cocoa and occasionally green tea as
stimulants when he needs to work late.

He told me about the special medicine he makes from the antlers
of his reindeer to keep his back strong, kidneys strong, and
the misses Nick happy too. Just like in Chinese Medicine, this
was amazing.

He told me about how he used the color Red to feel lucky and
joyful he sounded just like Feng Shui master.

He showed me a few exercises that he does so that he never
loses his balance and I was surprised how similar, if not
exact, it was to the Recharging Qi Gong I teach at
http://rechargingqigong.com

I offered him more tea but apparently one cup was enough. He
wished me a Merry Christmas and in a blink of an eye he was
gone.

I went back to bed chuckling to myself “ho ho ho” with a grin
on my face.

When I awoke I thought surely this must have been a dream but
as I shut my front door and began to leave for the office what
did I see. A small red package marked “For Dr. Wu Dhi”.

Inside was a brand new set of acupuncture needles made of gold,
the kind you can’t get any more and a small bottle
labeled “Nick’s Best Antler Medicine – Men Only.”

I still don’t know what to make of it all but somehow I feel
even more assured that what I teach works.

It works for the Man in Red to keep him Happy, Healthy and full
of Cheer and I know it will work for you too.

Wishing you all the best in this season of many holidays,

Dr. Wu Dhi

What to do when you Party to hard

Sunday, December 14th, 2008
Share

This morning I was reading the New England Journal of Medicine
they did a survey shows that only 61% of Americans in the 70′s
were satisfied with their health.

In the 80′s only 55% were satisfied.

The percentage of people who felt healthy enough to do the
things they wanted to do is declining. There is more illness
today then ever. There are very few people walking around today
that aren’t suffering from some sort of disease or Dis-Ease.

I say Dis-Ease because that’s what it is to be sick, you no
longer feel at Ease. Your emotions are affected as much as your
body. Even when you’re not sick negative emotions and fear can
make you sick.

I have a patient that I have been treating and the doctors have
scared her beyond belief by telling her what she “might” have.

You can’t afford to leave your health up to others not even the
best doctors, the more time and energy you put into your own
health the longer you can stay symptom free.

The more time you focus on fears and negative emotions that
faster you’ll destroy your body.

I’ll give you an example I have a good friend lives in southern
California and her 22 year old daughter lives here in Miami.
She receives a call from daughter, “I am sick” she says.

She freaks out as she is in California and can’t do anything.

She tells her daughter to call me.

When I get her on the table I can find the root cause.

It turnouts that the daughter has been partying hard and heavy
for a few months and now her glands are swollen, she has flu
like symptoms, and her energy is totally run down.

The daughter of my friend is surprised when I confront her
with “there is nothing wrong with you other than partying to
hard and abusing your body”. Chinese medicine is a very precise
art it’s difficult to pass off abusive behavior for being sick.

I can read your body like a map.

The very first thing she said to me is “don’t tell my mother!”
I was able to get her feeling better the same day but the best
medicine in this case is a little education.

Imagine having a garbage can that you through all your garbage
in and they come once a week and empty it for you. No problem,
but if the garbage men go on strike for a few months what
happens? The garbage overflows the next thing you know there
are maggot’s, rats, fly’s, and it stinks.

That’s exactly how our bodies work if you empty the junk out by
getting proper exercise, diet, saunas, dry brushing, cleaning
out your colon, and drinking plenty of clean water, your
personal garbage can doesn’t fill up as quickly.

If you’re the type that parties hardy it doesn’t take too long
before the so called garbage starts to overflow and you have
some kind of dis-ease.

That’s just where my friend’s daughter is at, too much garbage
in and nothing out.

In Chinese medicine they say that if there is a block in Qi
flow it causes stagnation then we get backed up in our system
and in no time you have some kind of disease.

When you practice Qi Gong you keep the Qi flowing in all the
meridians.

You can prevent both Qi and blood stagnation eliminate pain, as
you restore your energy.

If you keep the energy moving the body will naturally throw out
any sickness, but if you’re the couch potato type your asking
for it soon or later.

Remember it’s harder to hit a moving target that’s why I train
and I train every day to stay on top of my own health game.

There are three different branches of Qi Gong marshal Qi Gong,
Qi Gong for meditation and Qi Gong for health.  The Recharging
Qi Gong program and the Qi gong inner circle teachings combined
all three Qi Gongs to put you in the best health mentally
physically and spiritually.

As soon as you start practicing on a regular schedule you will
notice a shift in your energy your stamina and a noticeable
shift in your over all health.

You will have more flexibility in your body and mind and those
pains will disappear. No more back aches, headaches, knee pain
they are all gone. The Qi gong moves Qi (energy) throughout the
body and blood and oxygen follow the Qi flow.

As long as your organs and muscles are getting a rich flow of
blood and oxygen you are younger more flexible and pain free.
This all adds up to the type of life we all want and as we all
know a pain pill is a bandage for a problem that will only keep
raising its ugly head until it’s taken care of.

If you’re sick and tired of living on medicine to put you to
sleep, calm you down or get rid of pain this program will help
to pull you out of a funk and get you back to a healthy body
and mind.

Don’t get left sitting on the couch complaining while the rest
of us are on the beach exercising and having fun well into our
eighties.

I wish you the best in Health Wealth and Happiness

How Can Holistic Medicine Help Me

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

I no sooner opened the door last Friday when a patient who was referred to me by a chiropractor started peppering me with questions, and the first one was. What is holistic medicine and how can it help me?

This guy is about 45 years old, and had been in auto accident which really screwed up his back.  The conventional medical practitioners put him on pain medication and it’s affected almost everything in his life, his work, his marriage, and all his relationships.

He spends most of his day in a fog, and

still has horrible pain.

So he impatiently asked the old WIFM question, which is, what’s in it for me?

This isn’t a question I can answer in a minute or two. I took a lot of time to explain

my approach. I just don’t treat symptoms. I examine you as whole person, and the prescribe treatments that affect your entire immune system.

There are no drugs, or invasive treatments. I educate each and every patient about the imbalances in their body, and what we can do together to get them into optimum health. This often involves lifestyle changes, exercise, and diet.

Patients learn, with my help, how to take charge of their body and get it running

like a well oiled machine. I’m with them every step of the way.

Each and every person has a unique way of healing and dealing with their health.

When you have the proper coaching in the mental, physical, and spiritual processes

that you need to undertake in order to heal properly, the whole healing process goes much quicker than you might expect.

I have worked with young children, adolescents, mature adults, and geriatrics, with an emphasis in allergy control, and pain management.

All my treatments are minimally invasive, and all natural.

I’ve also worked with athletes and martial artists, and those seeking longevity, and a better quality of life.

Many of my patients become part of my Qi Gong Inner Circle as part of my ongoing support.

http://www.qigonginnercircle.com

I always deliver more than my patients expect. I just don’t identify what’s ailing you today, and treat it. I look at all the various aspects of your health, and design a plan

to get you into optimum health, and keep you there.

There is no reason at all why you can’t be a peak performer all the time, and I do it without any drugs whatsoever. YOU are the most important part of part of the

equation in holistic healing. Get started now, and live to be 100.

I wish you the best in Health, Wealth, and Happiness.

How To Get The Qi Flowing Correctly

Today, with all the emphasis on being in optimum health, many
people are pushing their bodies to extremes. When you push your
body to extremes, and you do it too often, you can end up
injuring yourself. I see a lot of this on a daily basis in the
clinic.

One of the big problems with injuries and overtraining is that
people aren’t taking adequate time to heal. This in turn makes
small injuries worse, and big ones really painful. It also can
set your body up for more injuries, and in different places.

Believe me, you don’t want to be in a situation where you have
multiple injuries.

Multiple injuries lead to putting your entire system out of
whack. You can experience physical and mental trauma, sprains,
strains, and stress that is very unhealthy.

You can have pain, swelling, stiffness, limited range of motion, and fatigue. Your energy system is getting pinched and punched, and your Qi is not flowing through your meridians as
it should.

As a result, your body is not being nourished  as well as it
could be.

Whenever you train, and whatever way you train, you must pay attention to your bodies warning signs. Whenever you experience pain, your body is sending you a clear signal, and it isn’t “reach for painkillers.” It is saying stop and rest.

In my practice I don’t use any drugs or painkillers.

I train people how to use internal exercises, (Qi Gong), and I
use acupuncture to help them become healthy and pain free.

My youngest son trained heavily in internal Qi Gong, and high
mountain bike racing for months, before competing in a 108 mile
bike race known as the Show Low Bluff. Much of the race takes
place at altitudes of 7000 feet or more before descending
through the Ponderosa pine forest into trails of sharp rock,
and then mud.

Then you have to consider wind, rain, and temperatures that get
very low. All in all, it is a very brutal competition.

He had to carry his bike the last eight miles because you
couldn’t peddle in the mud. He said, “Dad, I had two choices. I
could go forward, or backward. It’s always better to go
forward.”

He thought about those last eight miles, and he went forward,
all the way to the finish line, where he was declared the
winner.

He did it step by excruciating step, and finished what he
started. It was a big challenge, and he was up to it, and I
congratulated him. YOU did it!

But then he rested. It was well over two weeks before he did
any training whatsoever. And then he resumed with only light
exercise for another couple of weeks. My son is still a young
man, but he knows his body’s limits, when to push it, as in
this race, and when to rest it, as he did upon completion.

Everyone needs to train properly before they test their limits.

Everyone needs to listen to what their body is telling them,
and if your body sends a message that something is wrong, you
very well need to heed it before injury occurs.

Recharging Qi Gong will help you immensely in whatever sport
you compete in, and even if you do not. The benefits of
channeling energy would need pages to list.

How To Cultivate Energy

Monday, December 1st, 2008

When I was six or seven years old, my Dad took me to my first
ball game. I can still remember the hotdogs, popcorn, Coke,
peanuts, and the little flag that I got with the team logo on it.

I can’t say that I actually remember the game, but it’s a
powerful memory.

Last night I had one of those once in a lifetime experiences when
I took my grandson to see his first professional basketball game.

He and I got to see the Detroit Pistons play the Milwaukee Bucks.

He got to eat ice cream, hot dogs, cotton candy, and drink Coke,
just like I did so many years ago.

I really don’t know who had the most fun, him, or me. He may not
remember what went on in the game years from now, but yesterday
he couldn’t stop talking about it.

My grandson is six years old, and he didn’t have any trouble
staying up way past his normal bedtime to take in the whole
experience. Both of us were full of energy on this special
occasion.

In my Qi Gong Inner Circle I teach many ways to cultivate energy,
and how to store that energy for your growth.  At the game with
my grandson even I was surprised at the amount of energy both of
us had.

At halftime we looked at each other and grinned from ear to ear.
We both were feeding off the energy of the 30,000 fans in the
arena.

http://www.qigonginnercircle.com

For the most part, this kind of energy is wasted because most
people don’t know the secret of unlocking it, cultivating it, and
storing it.

More than three decades ago I learned an internal Nei Gong that
cultivates the spiritual digestive system. I was taught how to
channel energy, (Qi),

into every cell of my body for health and internal power. These
teachings have kept me fifteen years younger than people my own
age, and I have much more energy than men in their forties.

Anybody who has seen me up close and personal knows this is the
gospel truth.

Last year at this time I offered a small group of my best
students an opportunity to learn these powerful techniques, and
they have accelerated their growth by leaps and bounds. I have
decided to reopen this class to another 108 people. Right now
there are 63 openings left in the Qi Gong Inner Circle.

If you really want to make a dynamic shift in your life, the time
to act is now.

This is a limited time offer.

I wish you the best in health, wealth, and happiness,

Dr. Wu Dhi

A chilly 28-degree power walk will get your blood moving in the
morning. Yes! I am still in Michigan, the cold weather feels
good if your working-out. As soon as I got back to the house I
drank a quart of water to re-hydrate, boy it’s really dry here.
There is always a fire in the fireplace and the heat is always
on this time of the year and that keeps it as dry as a bone.

It’s important to keep well hydrated to stay healthy all the
time but the winter is even more critical.

In the Chinese system of health care this season is ruled by
the water element and the major organs affected are the kidneys
and bladder.

It’s the time of year to stay warm, go to sleep early, and
sleep-in. I work on my kidneys exercises this time of the year
and drink plenty of H2O.

Right now Qi Gong Inner Circle members are getting boatloads of
my Winter Health secrets in the current and next few DVDs I am
shipping to them.

If you’ve been sick or just plain don’t like getting sick in
the winter you’re going to want to here what I say and the
exercises I show you to keep your Qi thermostat on High.
