Full Moon Magic

We were talking about this coming full moon on October 24 while Venus, the planet of love and money, is in retrograde. She said letting go of things, whether you want to or not, seems to be the theme of this full moon that’s in Taurus. Full moons typically signify the conclusion of a phase. It’s a particularly good time to let go of someone or something that no longer serves the higher purpose of your growth. Money and finances are another area that may be affected. We may feel a bit insecure until retrograde passes. Don’t just stick your head in the ground like an ostrich and wait until it’s over. Now is the time for new beginnings, change and excitement.

Control Issues

Unless there’s comprise, one of the people will get burnt out which leads to dis-ease, sadness, grief, worry and resentment. How can you find balance? You have to give and take. You have to make time to do your own thing. Get up early in the morning while your mate is still asleep, meditate and exercise. Eat a diet that serves you and do what you enjoy doing that improves your overall well-being. You can be in a relationship that’s fun, exciting, restricting or even over-bearing, as long as you can do your own thing, you can make it work.

Prepare for Flu Season

This is the time when every drug store is trying to give away flu shots that never worked in the first place. Flu shots are made a year in advance hoping they will guess the right virus to keep people healthy. Unfortunately, they use mercury and the viruses are usually grown with eggs which are highly allergenic. The idea of the flu shot is to kill the flu virus. This is the wrong approach. If you can keep your immune system strong and healthy, you won’t get sick: no flus, no coughs, no colds. Your immune system will kick all that stuff out of your body.

Returning to My Regular Diet and Practice

When you travel either locally or to a foreign land, is to always find time for your own practice. It makes no difference if it’s early in the morning or late at night. Make the time for yourself, and you can stay healthy, young and vibrant.

Ninety percent of the food in Portugal is organic, Non-GMO. In the morning, I picked grapes off the vines, plumbs off of the trees and ate bread free of glyphosate. In the US, we struggle and search for such foods. The food in Europe is far less expensive, a hundred times tastier and is pure, organic, nourishing food.

So, if you say you’re going to do something, DO IT! This will build your internal power and people including yourself can count on you. Keeping your word is the key to keeping your integrity in check. Doing what you say and being on time is a spiritual practice that will accumulate merit in this lifetime and the next ones to come.
