Opening to a Whole New You

I have always been curious about different
cultures’ healing techniques and the Philippines
has a long history of healers and healing
techniques that we never see in the West. For the
most part, the Western arrogance poopoos this kind
of work.

I have studied many of the “local healing
traditions” around the world. Some are very good
and others are just money-making scams. In Asia,
there aren’t many health services of the Western
variety available for the majority of the people,
but with so many people needing a doctor, they use
a variety of traditional and non-traditional
methods to stay healthy. Traditional health care
in that part of the world is focused on the root
cause of the disease, and treatments like
acupuncture, herbs and healing touch are the major
health care system with far less emphasis on
Western medicine. The average Asian doesn’t visit
a doctor’s office very frequently like we do in
the West. One must be very sick before he goes to
the expense of calling a doctor. A doctor is
often considered as a last resort. People usually
seem to tolerate pain more and see doctors less
and for the most part. People just don’t complain
as much as we do in the West. I have been told
that in the Philippines, there are basically three
types of traditional healers:

1. The Albularyo (herb doctors): I would imagine
that they also do cupping, some bleeding
techniques, and gua sha, a form of scraping the
skin to increase blood flow.

2. The Baylan: In the Philippines, mediums are
believed to possess extraordinary powers to cure
sickness, to exorcise evil spirits out of the
human body, and to intercede with good spirits for
the petitions of the people. The mediums claim to
have special knowledge of the environmental
spirits. They perform all-important rituals, chant
prayers for the community when the barrio faces a
crisis. This sounds just like Medical Qi Gong to
me. I learned many of these practices over the
years that Western medicine would say they just
don’t work. If we would open up more in our
approach to health, perhaps we could help a lot
more people with a lot less drugs.

3. Espiritists: Baguio City is the summer capital
of the Philippines and it is well known for its
faith-healers. These healers are called
spiritualists, psychics or astral surgeons who
claim to cut incisions with their fingers and
perform other miracles of para-science.

When I was studying at the famous Paracelsus
Klinic in Switzerland, I experienced and worked
with doctors that injected homeopathic medicine
directly into the acupuncture points to give the
body every chance it could to return to natural
health. It’s called Neural Therapy. Here is a link

I have been doing this kind of treatment for years
on patients and myself and getting results that
most other treatments only wish they could get. It
addresses blockages in your entire body.

Listen up! The more we are open to “New and
Different”, we bring more possibilities into our
lives. It’s the same with our health. Don’t let a
doctor or Big Pharma scare you into a treatment
that you may not need. Look into different
possibilities. Think outside the box and stay
open.

If you feel your health isn’t all it can be, give

possibilities can keep you younger and healthier.

I wish you the best in your Health, Wealth and
Happiness!
