The Lies We Are Told In School

The Lies We Are Told In School

It was just Columbus Day in the USA. Here is what
they taught us in the United States when I was in
school. Christopher Columbus was an employer
created with the discovery of America. He was born
in Italy in 1451 and learned to read maps and sail
the sea. He convinced the King and Queen of Spain
to finance his trip. He set sale in August 1492
with three ships, the Nina, the Pinta and the
Santa Maria, and spotted land on October 12, 1492.
The voyage was long and hard. When he returned to
Spain, he was treated as a hero. He brought back
pineapples, turkeys and some of the natives. We
were taught a rhyme to remember the date: “In
1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue.”

Columbus Day is celebrated every second Monday in
October, and is a federal holiday. The post office
is closed, the courts and the banks are closed,
and it is really inconvenient for most of us. But,
if you research who Chris really was, you would
not see him as a hero. The myth is that he
discovered America and proved the world was not
flat. Columbus thought Asia was bigger than it is,
and the world much smaller. He came to America in
the name of exploration, he came in peace that was
all a lie. Quite simply, most of these “facts” are
clearly false or half-truths. Columbus sailed the
ocean blue to look for wealth and in the name of
Christianity. What he mostly did, though, was
enslave and rape the natives, sold young girls
into prostitution, and committed numerous acts so
heinous. Eventually, he was forcibly removed from
power and sent back to Spain in chains.
Christopher Columbus was brutal, even by the
standards of his age. Basically, Christopher
Columbus was a bad guy and we were led to believe
that he was a hero. Chris was a slave trader and
dealt in prostitution and reaped his karma at the
end. Isn’t it interesting how history is
re-written and what we are led to believe?

In a way, we are all enslaved by the government,
the media and the food and drug industry, to name
a few. Do you want to get free? I believe everyone
wants freedom from being enslaved, no matter if it
is from your job, your environment, or by the TV
and radio ads. How do you free yourself?
1. No TV.
2. No fastfood.
3. No street foods.
4. Cut down on your sugar consumption.
5. No soda.
6. Stay away from drugstores.
7. Clean up your diet.
8. Exercise daily.
9. Learn how to meditate.

We all could use a program to follow to keep us on
track and to be all we can be. Every successful
athlete has a coach. Everyone who invests has some
kind of financial coach or teacher. Whatever you
do in life, the more education you get. The more
you learn, the better off you are. That’s why, I
created the Qi Gong Inner Circle
www.Qigonginnercircle.com. I train people in
longevity practices, Qi Gong and meditation
techniques.
